Great location. Fun interior. Walkable to everything
-
Always friendly staff. Clean safe room.

Some members of staff were very helpful, some did the bare minimum. It was a real mix!

The restaurant on site was absolutely fabulous and the staff were amazing.
-
Super clean, and staff is friendly as always. Staying in the original hotel (now across the street from the cute modern new hotel) - be advised, the walls are paper thin. You’ll hear everything around you.

Great retro place. Excellent location. Big room.

The patio was nice The price gouged pastries. 3 blocks away were pastries for half the price.

I loved the big picture in the room and the chalkboard door! Also love the idea of their 420 packages. It was so expensive! I have a service dog and I ended up paying $45 to have him with me in the room, on top of a $90 refundable deposit and $40 for their underground parking garage (which we had found other parking but they said we couldn’t use it). The beds were not comfortable at all, and very low to the ground. The whole place gave the vibe of cheaters sneaking around not going to lie, a condom was laid at the side of the bed and they had alcohol in the mini fridge that was over priced. All in all, not coming back again.

Only negative-on Expedia they said everything all taxes were included and when we got there, we were added at $24 day tax. Still totally worth it. Still lovely place cool vibes but that was disappointing.

They rip you off on the parking, beware, customers

Awesome place, totally authentic “Portland” experience, walkable and friendly. Thanks.
-
Just to note - parking is an extra, there is not a gym, but they partner with some local gyms for discounted day passes. Great area, lots to do, restaurants, live music, bars, easy walk to the river for a morning run along the bridges, good coffee shops nearby.

Location is good. We payed $89 which feels like a good price for what you’re getting. It’s clean and great to stay the night coming through town. I think having to pay $20 for parking at a motel/inn is a bit steep since most offer complimentary parking. Hotels often charge for parking but this is very much a motel/inn. If the rooms were slightly more elevated I would maybe understand. Paying extra for parking

The chalkboard door was fun! You must go to the 5th floor of the Jupiter Next. There is an open air lounge with great views! The restaurant on the property, Hey Love, was casual and relaxing surrounded by plants There wasn't anything that I didn't like.
-
Good extra area for working, congregating with friends in town. Staff was great! Parking in area is opening up. Needs a coffee maker in the room. I want my coffee before going out.

The immediate neighborhood is pretty run down (as much of downtown Portland seems to be) and seedy looking but felt safe. It is about a one mile walk to downtown and very near bus and tram lines so transportation was convenient. There is nice courtyard to sit in and read or enjoy a snack of beverage of your own as there is no service. No coffee in room but available in the lobby across the street starting at 6:00 or downstairs (after 8:00). It is actually more like a motel with. exterior walkways to rooms but there is security person on premises through the night. The bar in the lobby of Jupiter Next (companion property across the street) was voted best hotel bar in the US in 2024. It is interesting, high energy but quite loud. They serve a short menu of excellent Mexican food. the Machette was excellent and reasonably priced. We stayed five nights and it was fine after the negative first impression. Parking is limited and expensive; $40 per day to park underground in an extremely tight garage). Good news is you don't really need a car if you are going to be in or around Portland. There is a James Beard award winning restaurant (Le Pigeon a few doors down - pricey - $140 prix fix menu)

Everything was great

I was informed when I asked about the extra amount that because I booked with Booking.com I was charged a destination fee. I booked the room through booking.com, but I did not book the parking through them. I booked it when I arrived and they were not involved
