Did not stay - in very seedy part of time. And.... I would have had to pay $43/day to park.

The entire vibe of the Kex was awesome. The front desk guy was super helpful with where to park, etc. Our room was the best with the bunk beds, each kid had their own space and it felt like I had the room to myself. The room was large and had a huge window to people watch. The decor was so fun and unique. The beds were all so comfortable, the bedding was so soft. Lots of towels, an actual hand soap dispenser, and I loved the glass bottles of water. A lot of nice touches made this such a cool space and a great experience to celebrate my daughter's 13th birthday. She is already wanting to book this room again for dance comps at the convention center, which is just a few blocks away. The Moda Center was also an easy walk. The restaurant was also very yummy and had plenty of seating. We didn't get to check out the spa or rooftop on this trip. We can't wait until next time. Very minimal stuff that wouldn't deter us from staying. The room definitely needed another mirror besides the bathroom, full length preferably. 4 girls trying to share one mirror, yikes. Lol. Also, our room was on the second floor, and right outside was a bus stop, the Max, and lots of traffic/sirens. This didn't really phase us, but for people who are light sleepers, it may be bothersome.

I loved how close it was to everything, truly walking distance. The beds were super super comfortable The bathrooms were a little dingy, everything stay stocked, but the sinks seemed molded

Fun place to stay with the eclectic decor. Very clean, great morning coffee, surprisingly quiet for being downtown. Convenient walking to cool shops and restaurants. Parking was a little challenging. Front desk staff at check in was indifferent. I think a new person was being trained, but still not very personable. Morning staff was a little more friendly. I would stay here again and have recommended to friends already.

We stayed in the room with a queen and 2 bunk beds, which was perfect for our needs. The kids loved it and so did we.

Had a great stay here! Loved the cafe on the ground floor, and the friendly staff made checkin and checkout a breeze. Would stay here again.

A lovely stay at a lovely spot in a great area of Portland. 10/10!

It was absolutely beautiful. The art, the furniture, the Bar, even though I don’t drink, and especially the jasmine porch that was my favorite I don’t mind the KX hotel being where it is but I wouldn’t wanna live there lol

The room was equipped with a comfortable bed. It is in a industrial location but it is well connected via transit options.

Staff was friendly, room was clean. Road noise was a bit loud but not the hotels fault. Shared bathrooms were kind of dirty. Maybe the hotel should encourage slobs to clean up after themselves? The AC unit on the wall was about to fall off and was incredibly noisy if it was turned on above low.

This place was adorable! I would stay here again and again. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very clean. Conveniently located.
