I guess the only thing that I liked was the convenience the hotel provided. It was within walking distance of a concert we traveled to attend. And the AC in the room worked pretty well. A LOT. We had to pay an extra $20 for parking, which was never mentioned on the site. The deposit was $100, when I thought I read that it was only $50. The Deluxe King Room that I booked wasn't ready; I would have to wait another 30 minutes, or they could switch me to a double queen. We had arrived almost an hour past the listed check-in time, and by then I was getting upset and annoyed with the front desk staff, so I took the double queen. The overall cleanliness of the entire place was below standards. The ice machine was broken. The carpets look like they hadn't been cleaned since the 60s. When we entered our room, it was 100 degrees in there. The tub was old and just needed to be replaced.

This was a nightmare experience. I booked my spouse and i a hotel near the moda center to see a concert for our 18 year wedding anniversary.The property was not as advertised, it was straight up fraud. When we arrived, there were people doing drugs in the garage. We went to go check in and found out the manager was not on-site and told the one person working to 'just ask the drug user to leave.' We got up to our room and it was the mostly filthy property I had ever seen. There were large stains, bodily fluids and cigarette burns all over the carpet. The bed linens were either dirty or stained or both. My spouse had a panic attack in the room at the property within a few minutes after our arrival owing to how unsafe the property felt. We immediately started looking for somewhere else to stay and headed back downstairs 20 minutes after checking in. Then the situation managed to go from bad to worse. The nice woman behind the counter had no way of checking us out so we could leaglly vacate the property. She said the manager was the only person who could do that because it was his log in in their computer system that was required. He told her that we couldn't legally vacate and that we should just comeback the next day to take care of it. Another person came downstairs to let the front desk person know someone had started shooting up intravenous drugs in the garage while we were trying to leave. We found out during this process that another couple tried to vacate the property right before we got checked in and were also refused to be allowed to legally vacate. The manager was intermittently communicating with the front desk person and kept ignoring her when she was trying to get guidance about what to do. We finally had to tell her to let him know it was illegal to refuse to let someone legally vacate and no longer be held legally liable for the space and that we were calling the cops. We called the cops.

The price is good and it is very conveniently located if you are going to the Convention Center or to the Moda Center. There is a reasonable amount of parking on site. It's a little run down, the one working elevator sounds and feels unsteady. The hall and room smelled funny, but it covered up the smell of the dog poo in the hallway as I was leaving

Nothing was good To start, took forever to get checked in because of how slow the systems are, the room was probably 100 degrees (not exaggerating) when we finally did get checked in, the tv in the room was smashed as was the tv remote.. genuinely the sketchiest hotel I have ever stayed in, reeked of cigs, reeked of weed, the mattress was literally sunken in on one side, and the elevator we had to use, because the stairs were "out of order" had a mind of its own. Everyone we talked to in the hotel had the same or worse room and appliance issues. Very hard to sleep with how loud it was

The hotel gave my Identification Card to strangers, who then stalked me online and proceeded to harass me. I felt unsafe there and believe they are doing shady business.

Very friendly and helpful didn't get finished getting out until 1.5 hours past checkout and they were fine with it and no extra charges. Nothing to dislike

Great location, not a nice hotel. One staff member was really helpful to move me to a better room, but many broken amenities (elevator out, stairs closed, etc). Stay here if all you care about is the location, but not worth the hassle.

Checked in and what I got was the kind of place where the carpet has seen things. Dark, mysterious stains that look less like “oops, spilled coffee” and more like “this is where the last guest’s hope died.” Walking across it felt like navigating a crime scene that the CSI team abandoned mid-shift. Definitely didn’t do it barefoot. The shower was a whole separate ecosystem. Mold had claimed the tiles with the confidence of a long-term tenant who stopped paying rent years ago and just started growing. I’m pretty sure it waved at me. I took the world’s fastest shower while making direct eye contact with the black spots and whispering “please don’t evolve.” The walls were mysteriously missing their picture frames. Just empty nails and faded rectangles of slightly less-dirty wallpaper, like the art got up and fled in the night. Honestly? Smart move. I’d have left too. Fellow guests looked like they were all competing for “Most Likely to Appear in a True Crime Podcast.” The elevator was its own experience entirely where I wondered if I’d make it out with my belongings among the fellow riders. The blankets are thin and my hopes of a good nights sleep here were even thinner. Run away from this place.

The pictures fail to adequately set forth how the building looks. It is in rough shape. The location is mostly bad from a safety perspective. Lots of people on the streets. One was being picked up (dead?) from an overdose the first morning I was there as I went out to my car. The TV did not work. I told them. It still did not work the next day. I told them. They tried to fix it. It still did not work. They gave me another TV but did not pair the remote with it. So, after another trip down they told me to pair it myself. Great. Except that the pairing only worked when it was aimed at the box near the floor and that was on the wall by the desk --- hard to get that angle while you are in bed. Only one of the two elevators worked ---- who knows when that will get fixed. The staff did not care except for one young lady (the one that tried to fix my TV. Did I mention the noise --- it is right on the city train line --- they run all night nearly (I know because I heard them) --- and I was on the fourth floor! Parking is available the advertisement says ---- they don't say they stick you for $20/day for it. The AC/Heater was intermittent even though I put it on constant fan so it would drown out the noise. I cannot recall a worse experience at a hotel in my 60 years of travelling. Don't book this place unless you enjoy misery. I wish someone had told me.

Great Location The hallways and room smelled heavily of smoke. The bed made loud noise with every movement. When we arrived the tv was unplugged and a plastic bag was covering the fire alarm.

My room was stuffy and the chain to the door was broken. I am a woman traveling alone and if I stayed more than one night I would have asked to move, but figured it wasn’t worth the hassle. The tv remote didn’t have a battery cover so the batteries kept coming loose so I had to make sure to hold them in when using it.

Beds were comfortable, good hot water and pressure. Location is excellent. Extra fees encountered when checking in were more than cost of room, waited 30 minutes for host to come back to check in, missing frequently . Noisy, bad company in parking lot making deals. Worst of all was the elevator, not working when we arrived. "Fixed" the next day. We got off in front of desk. The next person using the elevator got trapped inside when it wouldn't open. The lady inside tried the basement button and was able to get out after a about 20 minutes.

Stayed Sept 17-20, 2026. This Portland dump is a complete money grab surviving only on location. My room reeked of "homeless," the shower curtain rod fell on me, and the blow dryer didn't work. Only one elevator works, and it only goes UP, you must ride up just to come down. The overnight front desk guy (11pm-7am) is a jerk who refused me a plastic bag for laundry, sleeps in the lobby, and clearly hates his job. They charge for parking despite zero security, it's a free-for-all for homeless people. No washcloths, barely any soap, and everything is outdated. This place is a scam that gives Portland a bad name. Save your money and sanity—STAY AWAY!

Terrible place, the pictures do not match actual. Many things including the elevator are broken and have not been addressed.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. I should have just walked out before I even checked in. Someone was on the phone telling customers it's their banks fault they aren't getting their deposits back and they were to busy to talk to them, a guy was complaining because his rooms door locks wouldnt work, and someone else was crying. The room was filthy and the TV wouldnt work. We called and they said they would send someone up right away, after an hour we started calling again and the calls wouldnt get answered. We ordered bc ood and went to the lobby to get it and found the 2 desk workers standing around and helping 1 person. I asked if someone was still coming to fix my TV because it had been 3 hours and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking g about thej told me they are to busy. Finally someone did come an there was a chair in the way, and even then you had to stand in a certain spot and point the remote at tiny box on the bottom of the wall. The room was falling apart and the ground was so gross we got out own and used theirs layed on the floor just so we felt like we could walk on it. The free shampoo had a broken seal on it. And the parking price listed is inaccurate and it also only says it goes til midnight. The "secured door where you need a room key to get in wasnt and didnt appear that it could lock from the parking garage so anyone can come and go. Can't believe this place is opened and hotels.com should be ashamed.

Bad

Mold on the carpet. Asked to move rooms cause our balcony door was stuck open. Same thing in the other room. Heard staff member slam the counter after I asked him to switch rooms. You’ll be next to a highway and bus going all night. (That parts my fault) but it’s worth it to spend a little bit more for a better experience. Tried to budget but not gonna do that again
