Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center

Loved this place. The building is brand new and everything feels modern and roomy. Room was super clean and looked like nobody had ever used it. The location worked well for us too. It's a calmer part of town so you're not dealing with crowds, but it was still an easy trip to everything we wanted to see. Would definitely come back.

We repeatedly contacted the hotel and escalated the matter through Hyatt corporate. A senior operations manager eventually said the hotel would check the room again and speak directly with the room attendant who serviced it. However, Hyatt has not confirmed whether it preserved the room-access records, housekeeping records, Lost & Found records, or relevant back-of-house surveillance footage that I specifically requested. I filed an official theft report with the Portland Police Bureau and provided Hyatt with the approved police report. As of this review, my replies to hotel management have gone unanswered, and Hyatt has offered neither recovery of the boots nor reimbursement. What is especially frustrating is Hyatt repeatedly framing this as something we “misplaced.” The boots were left in a known location and then disappeared after the room was serviced. Mistakes happen, but trust depends on how a hotel responds afterward. So far, the response has been slow, defensive, and lacking accountability. I will update this review if Hyatt meaningfully investigates and resolves the loss.

We booked our trip true expedia when we arrived the hotel ask us for 100$ destinations fee this is unacceptable we pay even for one night almost cost us 400$ i don’t recommend this place

The valet and parking cost was not disclosed at time of check-in but I was charged an additional $50 without my knowledge. The staff should discuss and disclose those charges at check-in to provide options.

Every corner of this hotel is clean. Staff is amazing and rooms are very well up to date to make your stay as comfy as possible!

The hotel reception staff was excellent - helpful, friendly, knowledgeable! Our room was very clean and the parking garage was convenient to access. Would definitely stay here again!

We love to stay at this hotel is very convenient and we like that we are walking/uber distance to things to do around down town.

Be prepared to pay more once check-in I was charged $200 when it only said $58.00 due at property

Our room was ready but we couldn’t check in unless we paid $10 for every hour we checked in before 3pm. We are members and still had to pay if we wanted to get into our room early. I didn’t appreciate that.

It is a great location if you have a conference or event at the convention center. If you don't - check the convention center schedule! We arrived on a concert night - no parking and a 20 minute wait for one of 6-8 elevators. It was crazy. Loud hallways. Not restful. Sorry.

I went to Oregon for my anniversary and proposal and the staff did such an amazing job making it an even more special day

Front desk people were very helpful. Room was very comfortable. We had a room that overlooked the south, facing the convention center and bridges. TV worked well. We called and requested extra coffee cups and they came quickly. First off. The parking is in a separate building. You find the parking building, park, then exit the building to enter the hotel. No skybridge or basement tunnel connecting the two. No microwave in our room, that was weird. Also weird is the bathroom. cubicle for toilet on the right of the sink, cubicle for shower on the left of sink, with sink open to the hallway. If you need to do number two you have to close the sliding door that cuts off the entire hallway of the room. Hopefully this room design is for king beds only. I cant imagine traveling for work and saying, "Please grab your papers and sit at the desk, because I have to close this off for a while."
