It was clean and staff was friendly and helpful!

The staff was amazing and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. They helped me when I wasn’t sure which direction to take the train, and I really appreciated their patience and kindness. The staff behind the bar at Social Spoon were amazing as well. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely apologetic about things that were outside of their control. Their customer service really stood out to me and made the experience better. Unfortunately, my stay was pretty disappointing. When I first arrived, there were stains on the bed. To their credit, the staff immediately changed the sheets when I brought it to their attention. I also had issues with the TV. I wanted to watch a specific channel, but every time I turned the TV on, the screen kept malfunctioning. I called downstairs, and maintenance was sent up. Of course, the TV started working while maintenance was there, but as soon as he left, the problem started again. I called back to see if someone could come take another look, but no one ever came. I also had several issues with Social Spoon during my stay. Every time I went, they were either out of something I wanted or my order was incorrect. Overall, there were just too many small issues throughout the stay that made the experience less enjoyable than I expected.

In a good location for sightseeing near the river and Old Town plus within a quick walk to catch a train to the Portland Japanese Garden. Our room was clean, well appointed and comfortable with a small sofa for sitting. There is a restaurant on site for breakfast through dinner which was convenient. All of the hotel and restaurant staff we came into contact with were very nice and helpful. Overall, loved the look and comfort of the hotel.

We had to ask twice for our room to be cleaned. My husband got stuck in the elevator for over 30 minutes without a working help button or in elevator phone! Although the manager was nice after the incident, the staff was less than helpful and more concerned about their check in line rather than acknowledging the first responders that showed up to assist those that were stuck. Do better Marriott!!

The room and property were clean. I didn’t use any of the other amenities. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you have a dog. There is no pet relief area that is close and if you have to go let your fur baby do their business at night it’s a little scary bc of all the homeless around the area.

No consistent room service, I had to ask for it - no coffee cup after day 1, 2 bottles of body wash (no shampoo) No working TV remote for more than a day

I have stayed here many times and never had this problem so it was a shock.

We had a corner room & that was kinda fun. We totally recommend that you Uber from & to the train station. It was sad to be on the streets overall? But both streets specifically to the trains we took were kind of scary. Just letting you know... Anyway, enjoy! It's a nice hotel and the people are great!

The staff was fairly nice… The shower rod was halfway falling off the walls and the carpets were pretty disgusting in the room overall not terrible but also not great.
