The lobby was incredible. We especially loved the stairway museum. Every little detail of the architecture enchanted us the whole time !

We had a wonderful meal at the lobby restaurant and the gentleman who served us was so accommodating ! Room was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the Starbucks in room coffee. We had a few hours to kill in Portland and the staff graciously allowed us to store our luggage in a secure spot. I would certainly book another stay at the Benson. Location was perfect and allowed us to walk to the rail to access our next destination as well as return to the Airport.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Benson Hotel. The hotel is located in a good location in downtown Portland. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The Staff at the front desk very helpful.

We were able to easily walk to restaurants, shops, and many of Portland's downtown attractions, making it an ideal home base for our visit. What really sets The Benson apart is its character. We had trouble with our heater. Staff was very helpful and gave us a space heater

The room we stayed at was very spacious and all staff were very helpful. There was no self-parking, only valet parking available. Definitely recommend having a breakfast as Palm Court as it offers flavorful, easy option breakfast menu. However, the sink in bathroom had very poor, slow drainage, and no bathtub in the suite.

We loved this gorgeous and historic property. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and helpful. The location itself is great as it is easily accessible to a lot of places, we walked to the Pearl District and Nob Hill. It’s a short ride (we took Uber) to Hawthorne and Washington Park. I’d say to be on guard with the amount of homeless around. Nobody was aggressive, it’s just daunting at first and we were fine during the day.
