Great location.

We had trouble with our heater. Staff was very helpful and gave us a space heater

The room we stayed at was very spacious and all staff were very helpful. There was no self-parking, only valet parking available. Definitely recommend having a breakfast as Palm Court as it offers flavorful, easy option breakfast menu. However, the sink in bathroom had very poor, slow drainage, and no bathtub in the suite.

We loved this gorgeous and historic property. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and helpful. The location itself is great as it is easily accessible to a lot of places, we walked to the Pearl District and Nob Hill. It’s a short ride (we took Uber) to Hawthorne and Washington Park. I’d say to be on guard with the amount of homeless around. Nobody was aggressive, it’s just daunting at first and we were fine during the day.

The facility and location were outstanding. Beautiful room with a great view out to the street. The staff was very helpful. We have no complaints and would happily stay there again.
-

Had an enjoyable wait staff for breakfast Bobby was amazing

Beautiful old hotel. A few modern updates. We were 4 adults in a 2 queen suite. Why there is no microwave is beyond me. Adjoining sportsbar looked lively on Saturday night. We opted for El Gaucho restaurant, also connected. Valet ran smoothly. There was a burst water pipe the day we arrived, so getting ready for dinner was a challenge. We made it work, though. All in all, would stay again.

Staff was kind and helpful. We really loved the gym as well.

Great stay as always

Very beautiful property. Old world elegance combined with modern conveniences. Very helpful staff. Came early but was allowed to check in. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Day parking on street was good. Garage across had a car broken into so decided to use valet because there was so much traffic on the street on Friday night. Worth it. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so nice.

We stayed a week at the Benson recently, the hotel was very lovely and the staff was extremely helpful! They had a restaurant downstairs where we were able to get drinks, food and watch the World Cup. The fitness center was also very well maintained, clean and fresh. The only downside was that the AC in our hotel room worked very slowly and looked like it was leaking water onto the wall. We had it down all the way to 60 degrees (the coldest it got) and even then it barely blew out air. Besides that everything in the room was clean and well maintained! We chose to do Valet since it would save us more money and seemed safer than a public parking, the valet workers were very kind and quickly responded to our request. The hotel is in a pretty decent area where you could walk about and you’ll see others doing the same! Probably about a 10 minute walk from Powells Book store and Hello Portland!

It was an amazing stay, stayed there for 2 nights and everything was great! The only downside was there was not a bath tub which we didn’t realize before purchasing-that is our own fault though. Overnight valet was great and the staff was very nice and helpful! Enjoyed the stay
