Good location. Helpful and courteous staff.

Friendly staff, valer parking was on time , gym facilities excellent , but room was old , rusty doors , old door knobs , ventilation system in the bathroom very dirty. They can use a renewal , otherwise room clean and beds confy. Still waiting for my receipt of charges .

From pulling up to leaving the hotel, Valet staff were wonderful! Awesome communication and text notifications. Very convenient. Worth the price. The hotel was beautiful… old world charm. Beautiful marble, fire place, and seating area in the lobby. Reception staff were all very helpful and knowledgeable. The bar downstairs had so many options for both food and drinks. Great entertainment too! I had a room on the 12th floor. It was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. Carpet in this room looked new. I had a view of a wall, but if I turned to the left I could see a sliver of downtown Portland. Not a deal breaker. Very charming. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property- not keen on the location but it’s definitely worth the night stay for that old Hollywood feel.

It’s nice and convenient and staff was helpful. But the lobby was constantly overtaken by wedding parties, the restaurant had weird hours and the room was teeny tiny.

The room was 338, right next to the central aircon. Pretty noisy and I wish I was warned about that before check-in. The breakfast was included in my package but a partial charge was made to my bill. If there was a cap on how much was included in my package, again I should be warned beforehand.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. Very central to downtown and Pearl District. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean. The food was okay. I’d recommend venturing out for breakfast. Valet service was also fantastic. Quiet room with everything needed for a weekend stay.

Great stay!

We always stay at the Benson when we go to Portland. It is a beautiful historic hotel. It is in a great location, the staff is wonderful and the beds & pillows are super comfortable.
