Breakfast had variations of foods. Coffee was fresh. Fitness center had all the equipment necessary. Pool and hot tub were good. Elevator. Having only one.

Very convenient location right as you enter Portland, with easy access to the city. The complimentary breakfast was good and consistent with the reliable Holiday Inn Express standard. Although the rooms are a little dated, they were clean and well maintained, with good-quality bathroom amenities. Overall, a comfortable and dependable stay. The hotel feels quite dated and was not very welcoming when arriving at night. The parking setup was inconvenient: the ground-level spaces are limited and very tight, while access to the larger underground parking requires a separate card that must be returned or a $20 fee applies. The elevator was also very slow. The TV system felt outdated and was difficult to use, with an unreliable remote and channels that often froze or did not load. The pancake machine was also out of service during our stay. Overall, several small inconveniences made the experience less comfortable than expected.

Great hotel, good location close to downtown, which made it easy to get an Uber to and from,. I also like the parking because it was gated and secured plus a lot more affordable, compared to other hotels in the nearby area. They had free breakfast so I didn’t get an opportunity to make it because of other plans. Looking forward to the next visit.

The check-in experience was not satisfactory due to the unhelpful and unaccommodating demeanor of the staff. However, we were highly impressed with the amenities provided, and the breakfast attendant was exceptionally pleasant and accommodating, cheerfully informing us that breakfast was ready.

Breakfast is the usual Holiday Inn. They've got the pancake machine which the kids love, but I find them to be meh. Pool and hot tub were a hit - especially when it hit 90+ degrees outside. Could use better lighting inside the pool area though - kind of dark. Rooms were spacious. We got one on the end and it was borderline as big as my first apartment, but one giant room. Probably could have been divided into a bedroom. A little too much room, but no one complains about too much room. Vaughn street can be a bit loud. See if you can get a room on the other end or in the middle.

Location is a bit sketchy but fine during the day. Easy walk into the nicer parts of the Pearl District. Free parking so a great value if you want to have a car in this area where parking is otherwise expensive and limited to 4 hours at a spot during the daytime. Noisy. Room was often either too hot or too cold.
