Residence Inn Portland Downtown/Pearl District

I’m not happy with this establishment.

The property was close to all major landmarks. Breakfast is sub par. Hotel does not carry simple items like bread, condiments, vegetarian choice of meals which was disappointing to see.

Location, our room was super comfortable & roomy, the courtyard is fabulous The breakfast wasn’t that great. Also, we paid extra to include breakfast, but no one asked for our room number, so we could easily have just walked in.

Surprised by. $60 a night valet charge, with $1.50 + 3% convenience fee to tip the valets. Valets themselves were great.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially Piper at the residence inn at Portland pearl district.

Very clean and spacious room.

Breakfast seemed really understaffed. Didn't have dishes at 8am, a lot were empty, didn't have time to wait as we had a scheduled itinerary. Bathroom was out of soaps in the shower when we arrived. Just not what we expected for the price point, and they push $50 valet parking when the parking across the street is $20 a night... Won't probably stay there again even though it was a great location for the event we traveled there for. They put us in a family room all the way at the end where the train and homeless were very noisy. I care for the fact that they can't control the homeless, but they should get better noise cancelling barriers. Also, there were like only 6 channels and no good kid friendly ones.

We had a great day here, the room was large and comfortable for our family of four and the breakfast was top-notch and located in walking distance of attractions

Beautiful property with many relaxing lounge areas. The suite was spacious and comfortable for our family. Lovely little over night stay as we were just driving through. We look forward to a longer visit in the future!

Pillows were flat, water in the lobby was always empty, there were no house slippers available for guests (front desk said they had run out), and the location was not as central as I had hoped

I liked the spacious rooms, the courtyard, and the gym. Close walking distance to so many awesome places. They offered spa water and coffee in the lobby. I wasn't a fan of the half shower door however the bathrooms are beautiful and lots of great lighting.

Top notch property. Courtyard is outstanding. Restaurant/bar is wonderful.

The other thing that soured the experience was parking. We could choose to park on the street if we could find a spot, go to a public parking lot located away from the hotel or use valet parking for an additional 59 dollars a night. I will most likely choose a different hotel next time myself since I love food and we tend to want to swim and not be right in other people's space bubble.

Everything was wonderful! Staff were amazing and helpful. Clean rooms, wonderful layout and size. Master light got me, but it was all excellent
