Good stay for the price! We were worried about the shared bathroom, but didn't find it very inconvenient, it's worth it for a one night stay The rooms have very thin walls so you can hear people on the hallway and in other rooms, but overall it wasn't terrible

Loved the staff, facility and everything about the Hotel. Location is near Portland Amtrak and traveled by train for a short stop on the way to seattle. The Old Town area surrounding Portland Union Station is a bad neighborhood. If you take cab, uber or drive you are fine as the Hotel is safe and secure. I'm a walker having taken the train west and to walk everywhere is a challenge. There is security on the streets but not enough..

It's in a very convenient location I’ve visited around 22 countries and stayed in countless hostels around the world, so I have quite a bit of experience with this type of accommodation. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here to my friends. The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful. I ended up staying in the city longer than originally planned, but I decided not to add another night here because of my experience. The café employee was incredibly rude and condescending toward me when I simply went to make a purchase. It’s frustrating to go somewhere as a paying customer and be treated so poorly. I submitted a complaint almost immediately, but I never received any response from management. The shared room has around 21 beds and only three bathrooms. It would be helpful if the bathrooms were checked a couple of times a day to make sure there is enough toilet paper and that they are kept clean. Overall, the poor customer service was the main reason I decided not to stay another night.

The location is excellent. I took TriMet train from PDX airport to China Town and it was only hotel was only two or three blocks from thst stop. Then the next day, I took Amtrak to Olympia. Amtrak station was walkable, maybe five or six blocks? Good restaurants nearby. Powells Books is walkable. I slept well in my curtained bed in dorm. My son was nearby and liked his bed too Nice person at reception in afternoon and in a.m.

I really liked the decorations and overall aesthetic. I also loved the staff, they were extremely helpful and kind. There wasn’t much to complain about

The receptionist was super nice and helpful, the facilities were clean and the water pressure was great. I also loved the environmental concentration with the signs posted in the restrooms and rooms. All and all will definitely stay again. I think the only think I would change would be adding some type of microwave even a communal one but otherwise it was perfect.

Pleasant atmosphere, nice decor, felt safe considering the neighborhood, staff was helpful but not always friendly or attentive. Nice amenities. Full tub, Guest sex noise late night, no view from window, Sauna fee, free at the other location, minimum 2 hours. No refrigerator, complimentary coffee. Didn't clean my room after 10 or 11AM on 2 of my 4 days., No TV or phone. Cars usually parked in front, inconvenient for ride shares. Not many close restaurant choices.
