Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Downtown

Nice big rooms with refrigerator and free buffet is amazing. I stayed in april and it was good. However, this time I had a room on the 5th floor which was over looking the street and the bar below or across the street was thumping music so loud I couldn't sleep!!

Really good breakfast, not so good explanation about the welcome hour, which we missed. Valet parking was difficult to find because it was so crowded

Loved that there was a complementary happy hour as well as breakfast! The pool area was.a little loud.

Facility was beautiful, clean and welcoming. Breakfast was great. Chris and the other valet’s were tremendously helpful also! Outside noise at night (we know you can’t control it).

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Even checking in our car for valet and pickup was always efficient and quick. Everyone was very nice at this property.

We liked the breakfast selection but you have to he there quick as food and plates get hard to find. Omelette bar is good. Small arcade and unique pool. Drafty room with lexan over the windows to try sealing it, very noisy. Called for another blanket and ordered delivery for dinner about the same time. An hour later dinner was delivered and still no blanket from the staff for another 45 minutes after a few more calls. Valet $80 parking is pretty ridiculous. If you can park elsewhere just do it. They were speedy getting my truck down. FYI trucks are $100

Helpful and friendly staff While the surrounding area may not be the best, and there are quite a few homeless downtown, you don't realize it as the hotel is built so well you feel shielded from the outside. They do an amazing job to make you feel comfortable and safe. If you are fortunate enough to stay on weekdays, the lady at the omelette station is amazing. She has been doing it for 26 years in this location and you will not find a better omelette!

Such a cool historical building! 2 hot tubs, great restaurant attached. Just the $70 valet parking but that’s how it goes when you stay downtown :)

This property is absolutely stunning! Love that Embassy was able to pick up a historic hotel. It was also conveniently located within walking distance of voodoo donuts. Obviously being downtown, the area gets a little spicy at night. That would be the one draw back.

Awesome stay. Desk staff was very helpful in ironing out some adjustments. Looking forward to Saturday night! ~

Although Brett was helpful, I would not recommend this hotel other than the location and I would not stay there again.

Breakfast was great loved the historic feel of it We walked to historic restaurant which was cool Room was great very comfortable Happy hour was good too Didn’t like paying so much to park thought that was very high price to pay for parking We came at 3:30 and no line so went to get some food bc your restaurant was closed came back and a long line to check in like 4:30
