Excellent place to stay in Portland.

Everything seemed new and fresh throughout. The bed was nice - loved the shower! The desk attendants were helpful. We had a couple of issues with the room which were taken care of promptly. The indoor outdoor bar area was also nice!

The hotel itself is nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The one big issue with the hotel is the area it's in. There are a lot of homeless people in Portland. This is especially true in the downtown area bordering the Pearl District. It just didn't feel safe which colored the entire visit. If the hotel was in a safer feeling area, it would be great. Is it is, I probably wouldn't stay anywhere in the area. I would look for accommodations on the other side of the river.

Staying for my birthday, I thoroughly enjoyed my long weekend at the Cambria. The location is stellar - just a block off Burnside, but felt a world away from the traffic. The food and shopping options were close and the multitudes of trees in the park blocks across the street were lovely, I often found myself people watching through the floor to ceiling windows during my stay. The gym was empty and clean, with a bathroom and nice equipment, The walls were a little thin, and the blinds in my room were broken, so it was tricky to block out the light on the last evening there. I would stay again.

Just a great experience

The body wash container in the shower was empty but there was a portable mini bottle of it available so no big deal. The place is exceptionally well located if you're a tourist; right in the heart of weird Portland with like five different transportation options within a few blocks. Lots of homeless folks in the entire district; none of them threatening. A pretty good vibe honestly for the whole area.

Double queen room is the perfect size, very spacious, and the beds were exceptional. We also loved the shower and bathroom. Excellent stay overall!

Superb

The location is right on the cusp of many unsheltered humans…thus, walking around is fine going one way from the hotel and not ideal going the other. The hotel itself, is good. Just walking around in a few nearby areas (including the park across the street) was sketchy.

Great location and room was very spacious with great views of the city.

The property was clean and in good taste. Its a pretty new property. I was looking to take a bath but apparently they dont offer bath tubs in all rooms? The employees attitude inconsistent on a few occasions dodged from running into me and poor language. I took them up on a late check out when I called Casey

The hotel is very well located in the middle of Portland, close to nearly everything. It is a new hotel -- and everything is very well designed. The rooms are very practical, clean, and the beds are comfortable. The staff are helpful, and the restaurant has a simple and good menu. If we come back, we will definitely stay here.

Staff was very kind

Everything was wonderful expect for the toilet paper. I know it’s small but it was definitely an inconvenience. I love that it’s bamboo paper & it’s better for the economy but the way the toilet paper was stored was but convenient. Everything else was wonderful
