A NEWLY BUILT HOTEL IN PERAL DISTRICT OF PORTLAND. THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND QUIET. AN EASY WALK TO THE HEART OF THE BUSINESS AREA; POWELL STREET BOOKS, AND TO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION PICK UP SITES.

Their staff was helpful, competent and our room was nice...

Everything was perfect!

The hotel itself was fine. The bed was comfortable, the shower was well supplied, and the air conditioning system was effective and quiet. All the employees were friendly and helpful. I was not fond of the open floor design of the lobby with no separation between it and the restaurant. The location was the biggest minus as my car was vandalized in a nearby parking lot that had been recommended by the front desk clerk. Valeting one's car is highly recommended and that's what I did when I returned to the hotel before flying out at the end of our vacation. That was expensive but worth it. The proximity of many excellent restaurants and the Powell bookstore might compensate for others but the dirtiness and smell of the surrounding blocks was too much for me.

It's on the edge of the Pearl District which is mostly to the North and West of the hotel. If you walk in those directions you'll find Powell's Books, shopping and great dining. I'd ask for a room overlooking the park, although there can be lots of activity at night. The valet is probably worth it. We would return to the Cambria Pearl District.

The hotel was awesome but the neighborhood was a little sketchy
-
There was a situation where I was followed by someone on a morning walk nearby the hotel and as soon as I entered the hotel and asked for them to help me, the 2 men at the front desk quickly helped by one going outside to find the man and one immediately calling the police. I felt safe and cared for and although Portland has some bad eggs roaming around I would stay here again because of how safe and cared for the staff made me feel. The bartender and valet attendant was also friendly. Beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean.

We had a great stay at the Cambria! The hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location is excellent and puts you close to a lot of restaurants, shopping, and attractions, making it a great base for exploring the area. The neighborhood is very busy, and there is a noticeable homeless population, which is common in this part of the city. If you’re driving, I’d definitely recommend using the hotel’s valet service unless you don’t mind searching for street parking. The only issue we experienced was that our card was accidentally charged twice. The staff acknowledged the mistake right away and assured us it had been corrected, so we’re hopeful that will be resolved without any problems. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. The great staff, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location easily make this a 5/5 experience.

-
Large room. Spartan furnishings. Functional except could use more lighting. Valet somewhat slow. In all areas staff was friendly and helpful.

The Cambria hotel was very modern and new looking. The staff was outstanding and helpful with a great, positive attitude. The room and bathroom were large with excellent amenities. The bed was comfortable. The location was a few blocks from Powell's bookstore (a landmark to visit). The area was safe for daytime walking but I would not walk around at night as there were quite a few homeless gatherings nearby.

Not everyday room service

Super clean, and very nice. Comfy beds and bedding. Beautiful large windows overlooking the park.
