I always stay at the Mark Spencer when I visit my family in Portland! It’s a charming building in a terrific neighborhood. It’s quiet, the beds are comfortable with soft crisp sheets. What more do I need?

It was in the perfect spot to access the rest of the city. The parking was great. Staff was upfront and immediately available for questions and to talk to when something needed to be addressed/. Everything was perfect. I don't have any anti-comments.

We loved the location, the helpful staff, and the tools and amenities in our room. We will stay here again when visiting Portland.
-
We were “upgraded” because they overbooked into a suite with a conference table and chairs. It was pleasant and felt like we were staying in an office building. We won’t be returning.
-
Nice, welcoming staff in a convenient location. Perfect for exploring or staying in town for an event. Nothing

Love the location of this hotel. It’s close to some great shopping and wonderful restaurants, so you always feel you’re a part of the city. At the hotel, the laundry room is great (albeit was a little busy) and so is the small gym. We highly recommend this hotel! Wonderful staff; wonderful location; wonderful amenities!

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Extra towels were brought up without us even needing to ask.
-
Friendly staff, smooth check in, clean room and nice amenities. Great value for a downtown location hotel. No breakfast option but there are so many cafe and bakery shops close by.
-
Breakfast @ Cheryl's delicious, location -- fantastic Bottled water couldve been a regular staple in the room as an option for guests who dont want to get water from the sink. A smart tv would be nice as well - that would be bee a nice option for guests like me who dont wach regular tv. Drinking glasses - the used ones - were not cleaned - tthat should be part of housekeeping.
