Location and friendly staff

Room was clean, staff very friendly and helpful, walking distance from crystal ballroom and a small kitchenette too.

Timmy at front desk was a fantastic host, really set the tone for a nice stay. I will say the parking wasn’t ideal as it’s not underground (my bad to not double check what self-parking entails), the pillows were kinda lumpy and I imagine the ventilation of the hotel could use an upgrade. Otherwise room was lovely and spacious and very clean. I’d come back!

The hotel has an antique feel. It was comfortable.

Location, easy parking. Good room size. Quiet in hotel. Toilet would not flush. Duty receptionist suggested i fix it myself. I suggested as i was on holidays and paying to stay that was not my job, and that what was needed was another room if they could not fix it. The slightly vague and perplexed receptionist eventually moved us. You need to request cleaning of your room before 10am if you want it.

The room was a great size, and the bed was very comfortable! It was super clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly! The ONLY thing that was a tidge disappointing was that there was no coffee pot in the room. Other than that, it was great! Everything was great except for the lack of coffee in the room.

The proximity to restaurants, pubs etc. We were given a room at 1st floor a few meters from a tram line, which did not let us sleep because of the noise. When we complained, the person at reception answered that it is less noisy than a regular train. The receptionist calimed to upgrade us by giving us that specific room, but it was a scam to get rid of that problematic room, rather than any upgrade. Hence our 2 night stay was awful!?? The receptionist did not offer any compensation or solution to our complaint!??? I would not recomand this hotel to any of my friends!??? In addition, the room is equiped with a kitchen, but with no dish washer so we had to do the dishes by hand with no proper means and carry the garbage ourselves to a garbage pale point. .

Beautiful hotel and spacious rooms. We had the queen with a separate living area and a kitchen. It was more than enough room for the four of us. The bathroom had a great pressure lots of nice plush towels. The bed was extra comfortable! When I return to Portland, I feel like I would definitely book this hotel again! Plus, it was so easy to walk to many delicious restaurants and quick Uber rides anywhere else!

Great stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. The staff was friendly and helpful, and everything was well maintained. Overall, a terrific experience and I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic boutique Hotel right in the middle of everything that Portland has to offer downtown. We loved it and we will stay there again.

Hotel staff were great, very helpful and personable. We loved meeting other guests at the wine social hour. Coffee offered 24/7 was fantastic quality. Very comfortable beds. The location was safe and very good for walking to so many places. The only thing that was not ideal was no dresser to put clothes in. We stayed at the hotel for a week that’s a long time to have to keep your clothes in your suitcase because there were no drawers to put anything in. There was a closet to hang clothes, but it isn’t possible to hang everything.

Friendly staff, good location, building has character. Appreciated being welcomed with my small poodle. Unfortunately the inner courtyard room was a letdown with really poor lighting, zero view, a sagging canoe mattress, and a shower that didn’t drain properly. Staff were quick to offer a solution with a room change and I am grateful, but wouldn’t stay at the Mark again.
