This may have been the best hotel stay I have ever had. The hotel itself is in a great location, is well decorated and very comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I was so surprised to be provided with a lovely bottle of wine when we checked in. We were also present on a night when there was live music on the rooftop with more wine. I am definitely coming back!

The staff was helpful. The location was convenient. The wine reception on the roof was delightful. The hotel itself seemed ready for a refresh.

I love The Mark Spencer…been staying there for years. Great location, great staff and good pricing!

Really nice.

Staff was incredibly helpful! We stayed with an infant and the crib was already in the room ahead of our stay. Very family friendly.
-
The website states that the King bed sleeps 3! We all assumed that meant there was a pull out bed of some type. I have never seen it advertised that a King bed sleeps 3 on any other website. This is extremely misleading. They did not have a roll-a-way or any other solution for us. We had to give up our room to our family members and we ended up driving home in the middle of the night instead.

Good hotel in downtown Portland with various restaurants for breakfast and dining close by. The bed (mattress) was super comfortable and definitely among the better ones which I have experienced. I would have no hesitation to book this hotel again.

I booked the wrong dates, June instead of July. I became aware a day later. Expedia asked me to call them to reschedule. The hotel was very rigid, and absolutely offered me no help to accommodate me in any way. I wasted $600 for this mistake. I accept that this is partially my fault, but all other hotels have provided some firm of relief in the past. I am disappointed.

The hotel is a unique older building that definitely has its charm. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. It’s in a great downtown location.

Comfortable and convenient. An indoor parking arrangement would be welcome

Staff were super welcoming and friendly! Over all the room was clean and comfortable. Easy area to walk to restaurants.
-
Everything was lovely besides the parking. Parking wasn’t terrible since I came on a weekday, I just don’t like how it’s setup & the fact that they don’t have a designated area for the hotel (besides the 10 open spots across the street)
-
The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and my room was spacious with a kitchenette that made the stay even more comfortable. The location was perfect—within walking distance of many great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Portland.

A beautiful hotel! The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly polite, friendly, and welcoming. The room was spacious, spotless, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The modern interior was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathrobes and towels were a nice touch. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. I absolutely loved my stay—this is now my favorite hotel in Portland!
-
Extra friendly and helpful front desk. It was my first solo trip without kids and I felt very safe, welcomed, as I asked a bunch of questions about what to do and how to get around. They also host a wine hour. Close to shopping, Powells, and very walkable. Heading back to the airport was simply 1 train away. I would stay here again.

Wonderful and charming hotel. We loved being near places to visit and restaurants. Covered parking under the hotel but we didn’t even need to access the car once. Everything was in walking distance. The perfect overnight accommodations to compliment our visit to Portland. Will definitely stay here again.
