Washington Plaza Apartments

Stayed 2 nights with no issues. Location felt safe and convenient to walk to places downtown. It is right in town so there is noise at night. Stay was comfortable.

This unit is a studio with a kitchen. However I found dirty knives and almost no silverware in the unit.

Already want to come back! Helpful, thoughtful staff present. Good communication experienced. I loved the aesthetics and history of the place along with the facts that it was safe and clean. Excellent urban location close to MAX and buses. Being close to Powell’s City of Books was amazing, one of the best location perks. Portland Art Museum and many stores and restaurants in the immediate area. Loved it!

The Mark Spencer hotel was outstanding in accommodations, in staff, in musical happy hour, in location, in answering questions, in fixing a very minor problem.All in all very terrific!!

The location is fine if you need to be in downtown. It’s close to shops, coffee, and entertainment. The check In was fine and the staff was friendly. The room is small, and the bathroom is terrible. The shower hight is about 4’4’’, the toilet struggled to flush, and a bad urine smell never stopped seeping through the pipes. The kitchen was fine for a short term stay. Over all I’m glad my stay was short.

Staff were helpful, friendly, responsive, and professional. Everything was clean, functional, and as described/pictured.

I loved my stay. The location was great - central and close to the metro line. The staff were really helpful also. The room was lovely and it was good having a microwave, fridge and kitchen facilities. The only problem we had was that the lift broke down on our second to last day and was not able to be fixed over the weekend.

This was a great option for a budget stay right in downtown Portland. The building was secure, well maintained, and I loved having a full sized refrigerator and freezer. Portland is very walkable, and there good options for groceries, eating out, pharmacy, and of course, a multitude of coffee shops. Just a few blocks from the lightrail makes this location convenient for many of Portland’s attractions. Staff was friendly and accomodating!

Adequate for somewhere to sleep on a solo trip…would probably not stay here with a family. Area is a bit sketchy at night. Room was clean, staff was helpful.
