Dark and dreary- a horror film set. Bathroom down the hall was unplanned adding to the misery. Quirky is fine- but not what I was expecting.

I love the people, the rooms, the atmosphere, the pool, and the restaurants and bars! I often choose to fly out of the Portland airport rather than the one closer to me, just so that I can stay a night on either end of my work trips at the Crystal!

Bring some sandals or something, you share bathrooms with everyone on the floor. The soaking tub was lovely. The wines were fantastic. The cocktails in Al's were wonderful. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Probably the best experience I've had in a hotel.

The rooms were clean and fully stocked with clean towels. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall it was a great experience. I love staying at any of the McMeniman's hotels but the Crystal was truly special.

Pool was fun location convenient There was no bag in the bathroom trashcan and used sanitary products left out for the entirety of our stay. Very bare bones and not very tidy.
