Nice hotel with nice shower and comfortable bed. Area was a bit sketchy.

Cool rooms. Beautifully restored hotel. Staff were fine when you asked for help on anything , but always seemed very busy Good stay . Funky and fun location as expected

We had a great stay at Harlow! Quick check in, friendly and helpful staff! Room was clean and modern with everything we needed including some robes. Gym was nice and had the essentials needed. Overall we would return for sure
-
hotel itself was great. location was close to all i needed in portland but may be undesirable for folks not used to seeing the homeless of portland.
-
Clean room & bathroom, easy check in.
-
Basic motel, bit aged and not in the best area of town. Lots of homelessness folks around the motel. Which they can't help but unfortunately is a fact. Well located to city center activities. All at all a ok experience.

Cleanliness, decor, nightly rates

The service staff was super friendly and accommodating I believe it was Brandon was their name and the gal that works later at night did not get her name but she was also very fantastic customer service also is pleasantly surprised at their prices for the food and beverages was very reasonable I will just say that for some the location can be a little sketchy it is in the rougher part of town but on the outskirts of that part of town so you will encounter some transient population let's say but for the most part I think it's safe enough but if you do go exploring just make sure you head towards the Pearl district and not further into Chinatown

Friendly staff, clean room, and nice property.

Super cute place in a perfect location by union station.

Lovely remodeled art deco style hotel. Very comfortable room and bed, and very clean. Front desk employees were so nice and helpful. Convenient location in walking distance to food cart pods, Powell’s bookstore, Saturday market, Union Station, and public transportation. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property, felt homey. Location and safety going to car, also no mini fridge in the room.

This hotel is so cozy and quaint, we loved it. Not just the hotel itself; the staff is really what makes you so feel welcome. Very professional, friendly and helpful. What the City allows to occur in the area. It's not as bad as other areas but there is room for improvement. Once you walk through the doors, you'd never know it, though.

I like the history and the room set up

It's a very good price and within walking distance of downtown and the train station. The style of the old hotel with high ceilings is nice. Some of the front desk clerks were very kind. If you walk to downtown on 9th or 10th street instead of Broadway or Park, it's fairly pleasant and safe. One of the night clerks was away from the desk for quite awhile and didn't answer the phone, so I had to get ice by myself but then she yelled at me. Her attitude in general was rude and not suited to customer service. The neighborhood is very sketchy and there are lots of homeless people living in the park right outside the window, so you have to keep the blinds closed at all times. You can hear the mentally ill street people screaming and shouting at night. There is no refrigerator, microwave, or hot water heater in the room, so you can't make tea or coffee for yourself.

Street parking was only 2 hours and that was the only suggestion listed on the hotel website. I do not blame the hotel for this but I'd likely not stay at a hotel without on-site parking again to avoid this hassle. It would have been helpful if they had provided suggestions for reputable overnight garages on their website. I also found it extremely inconvenient to have to check out twice. Online checkout was meant to save time and it saved no time for me because I thought I had checked out when I had turned in my key, which is standard, and when I got home I found out I only had a half hour to check out, so I did. Extremely annoying and not convenient at all. Just more work for the guest. There was also no refrigerator. And no air conditioning or fan, so the room got rather stuffy.

Beautifully appointed very comfortable On the edge of a very dicey area of town

This place is gorgeous. And a very interesting way out. Oh in the shower was fabulous. The location is not the best. Parking expensive. But apparently there's a trick to it but it involves moving your vehicle around. And there is no microwave or refrigerator in any of the rooms you have to use the microwave downstairs in the cafe.

Loved everything about it Can't say I didn't like anything

Very comfortable No bathtub
