Quaint hotel, and conveniently located to the downtown area as well as historical sites. Staff was helpful and courteous along with an easy check-in and check out process. Several places throughout the hotel to quietly read a book or sit and have conversation with other guests or those you were traveling with. Daily included breakfasts consisted of a variety of items such as yogurt, berries, variety of fruit, overnight oats, daily charcuterie board, and other breakfast staples such as hard boiled eggs bagels and toast. Cute in house small bar with pool table in basement. Would recommend this hotel and would not think twice about returning again.

A really, really comfortable and pleasant hotel near the heart of super quaint Portsmouth. My room was large, tastefully colorful, full of character. I slept really well and enjoyed a nice breakfast in the attractive common areas of the hotel. Easy to walk to everywhere in Portsmouth too. I even walked to Maine for dinner one night. Highly recommended.

This was a great hotel. Location was fantastic. We were able to park the car in the parking lot at no charge and walk everywhere. The staff was super nice and amazing. The rooms were clean and spacious and the breakfast of bagels and coffee were perfect.

Had a very peaceful quiet day having to run all over New England. This was a great base. Easily accessible to everything in short drive or a walk.

We paid a lot for mediocre. The room had a strange stale odor. The penthouse was also a weird room. I'm not use to paying close to 3k for 3 nights then having window units and musty odors. We didn't interact with the staff much, but the breakfast was great!

The decor is wonderful. Cozy, eclectic, charming. Lots of little sitting areas and our bedroom was not only full of charm, it had all your needs covered (lovely linens, plentiful towels, robes, ironing board, etc) Can’t think of anything

Close to everything. Unique 130 years old. Speakeasy downstairs for a drink. Complimentary breakfast.
