Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Room was very clean but didn’t care for the lighting. The light fixtures next to the bed were dim and made it difficult to read in bed. Found the bed to be a bit hard, pillows could have been firmer.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The bar area was very nice.

Had an absolutely wonderful time. My sister and I have traveled up to Portsmouth every year together for a girl's night for over a decade now. We have tried multiple hotels, typically a different one every year. Last year we booked this one and couldn't wait to go back again this year. We are also talking about adding a winter trip just because we love the hotel so much! A pool/hot tub is very important to us and we love the facilities. The location is unbeatable for shopping/dining. The rooms are perfect and perfectly comfortable. The staff were all wonderful. And even though we haven't traveled with our dogs here we are always delighted to see so many other dogs around and even staying at the hotel. Absolutely 10/10! I do wish the breakfast was either a little less expensive or had a little more to offer... We have gone out to breakfast instead because for practically the same price you can get a much better meal downtown. Not a deal breaker by any means but it is the one thing we would change

Our only issue was there was some mold where the bathtub met the vinyl and along one of the soap dishes.

It was well centered in the town and easy to walk to restaurants and historic houses!

We had an excellent stay! The hotel was brand new and the staff were very welcoming and helpful!

Location was convenient to Market Square which was just what we wanted. The room was nice clean and appeared updated, except for the TV, which the remote was so basic and hard to figure out and there was no "Input" to hook up iPad or phone to to stream on so you were at the mercy of just watching a few basic channels which was very disappointing. Although the room seemed to be updated, the "one" USB port in the room did not work, so unless you brought a plug in charging cube, you are out of luck with charging your devices, also very disappointing.

The hotel is in a great location. Restaurants and shopping are just steps away, as is the river. The staff was excellent. The room was good.

It was credible experience, just like Hilton, something that you would expect very neat, very cordial, and a free upgrade. Because we are Hilton Honors members down that the pleasantries have been said, I must say it was a little off-putting to sleep on stain Sheets

They don’t make up the room daily. Noisy music late at night from nearby outside bar. A/C cycles on and off all night.

Excellent stay. Hotel is tops. Location is superb. Staff is efficient and friendly.

Did not realize I was gonna pay $45 extra for valet parking. I did not know they had any other options for parking.
