My room was terrible. Low slanting ceiling, tucked away at the end of the hall. AC was extremely loud and kept making a loud banging sound all night long. It seems like this is the room you get if you book through a 3rd party. Parking is also $45.00. Ridiculous!

The location of this hotel near downtown and the water is what makes it appealing. Otherwise I would find it overpriced. The rooms are standard with no special amenities. Hallways have drab carpeting that needs to be vacuumed if not updated. Breakfast was delicious.

So, Pros: great location, very friendly, competent, responsive staff. Cons: one room with strong ammonia (urine?) smell; next room with crappy a/c. We won’t be going back. Plenty of other options in and around Portsmouth.

We had a wonderful stay. The dinner and breakfast was delicious, the staff was super friendly, and the overall experience was exceptional.

Staff made a terrible mistake during check-In and charged a Hold for my room charges again despite the Front Desk Staff and Manager knowing and confirming that I had prepaid more than $1,100 for my Stay. Was there for my Son’s Graduation which adversely impacted my enjoyment of something I’ve waited a long time for. Staff, even today during Check Out, blamed my Bank for their charge error. Reached out to the General Manager and incredibly have not received any response.

Great location and very nice hotel with great amenities and a welcoming staff.

I took my son and his friend for a belated birthday celebration. Our original trip was postponed due to a big snowstorm. When we arrived the staff was genuine and welcoming. At dinner the waitress was unbelievable. Kind, attentive AND when we said we were celebrating my son’s belated birthday and his friends birthday (the day prior) she surprised them with the most decadent chocolate cake. Our meals were delicious and we were so impressed with how special the server made the boys feel.
