Basecamp Puyallup a Travelodge by Wyndham

This place is so noisy they give you free earplugs at the front desk. We could hear people outside on the ground level like they were right outside our door. This road has a ton of traffic and is located near a hospital, so that includes sirens. It does have some recent upgrades (floor, paint, tile, etc) but not enough reason to make us stay there again. No room service for a three night stay. Pleasant staff at check-in.

Clean, but TV wasn’t working most of the time. We still had a good time.

Beds were pretty terrible but could have been tolerated if the windows werent so bad. Checked twice in the night because it was so loud, we were convinced the window was open and then somehow had opened for the second check. Unbelievably loud. Never left a motel/hotel review (except the one time I was offered 10% off to do so) and otherwise pretty tolerable of economy motel/hotel shortcomings.

Place needs work. First of all noisy as hell all night with the road way. Shower liquids mounted right where you bang in to them not opposite the shower head wall. Door to outside not seal to weather at all. Ac runs all the time with visible light around door 130. Room was tiny and not worth $164.

Rooms are fine but the traffic is really loud

Good place, looked like they just updated and remodeled the place looked good. Room was okay not what I expected.

Sorry in advance to the staff. They were all quite nice. But whoever is running this hotel needs to, kindly, get it together.

The travel lodge is a few blocks from a hospital and ambulance sirens are heard all day and evenings. It’s not a quiet place to stay. There is also a lot of road noise. I found the room floor dirty. I wore white socks that went home brown. We were surprised that the room is only made up every third day. We booked for 2 nights. It was ok for a place to sleep. Wouldn’t book again.

Very noisy

It’s a very nice clean hotel but it’s older and it shows. The stairs are uneven. It’s also very noisy from the road but I expected that since the doors face the road.

Should have told us that room was serviced only after the 3rd day of your stay.

Tv would not connect to any streaming apps though. No soap provided at the sink were the two negatives. Bed was comfortable and good water pressure in the shower.

Everything was great about our stay.

I had a nice king bed room with a kitchenette and desk and it was very roomy. I gave it 4 stars because there is no elevator and it’s on Meridian which is a busy road in Puyallup and the road that leads to Good Sam Hospital is right there so you hear all the Medic trucks with their sirens on. They do supply earplugs

I would appreciate if the motel would return our deposit of $100 without me having to call every time we stay. Husband said the bathroom floor needed mopped, floor was very dirty but otherwise was ok.

Your $100 deposit consider it on its own vacation.

The room was clean, but very outdated. The big old air conditioner was 3 feet from the bed, and it was loud when it went on and off. The door was very thin, I worried how easily it could be pushed in/kicked in. The room faced the freeway which was loud all night. This could be minimized by window and door upgrades. It wasn’t much cheaper than other hotels but it was like a small town hotel from the 80s.

Rooms were actually pretty nice. Good location. Only complaint was the noise from the busy road.

Hotel was good shape. Didn't see anything wrong. The room was cleaned and no issues with the room myself my friend stay 1 night in. Bathroom was bigger then normally see hotel bathrooms size is. So that was a plus. With plenty towels. So all good
