The Marriott Rancho Cordova was clean and well maintained, and our room was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, the lack of transparency about additional fees and the disappointing customer service significantly affected our experience. When we checked in, we were told parking would cost $10 per day. At checkout, however, we were charged $15 per day. The parking fee itself was not clearly disclosed before our arrival, and even the amount quoted by the front desk was inaccurate. The breakfast experience was even more frustrating. I believed there might be a complimentary continental breakfast, and nothing about the setup suggested otherwise. There were no visible signs showing prices or explaining that breakfast was not included. The food was arranged exactly like a typical complimentary hotel breakfast. After waiting to be acknowledged, the server simply said, “There’s just continental. Is that okay?” He never mentioned a price or explained that it was a paid buffet. We served ourselves, sat down, and received no service or further attention. As we were getting up to leave, the server suddenly rushed over with a $50 bill for two people. Charging $25 per person for that breakfast was unreasonable. The food consisted of basic continental breakfast items, was extremely greasy, and made me feel sick afterward. Overall pleasant stay with the exception of noise disturbances in the early morning hours. Complaints weren’t resolved as I expected.

Comfortable

The room was very clean and comfortable. The only drawback was noise from cars as the hotel is close to the freeway. We were there for one night so we didn't use any amenities

I found that this place was visually pleasing. I loved all the little things that they did. The artwork, the blue area is absolutely beautiful. My only complaint would be that. That air conditioner was a little loud in the room. Other than that bed was very comfortable. Very clean. I would definitely go back the last time.I know the better

Clean property and friendly staff.

Pool dirty and hotel could have been cleaner (tables were dirty, trash cans outside always full/overflowing). Expected cleaner for the price. Could use some updates in general, building seems old. Have to pay for parking and wifi. Jacuzzi under renovation

Everything about the Hotel was fantastic! We have traveled a LOT as a family in the past few months and this Hotel was by far the nicest experience. Ally the waiter in the restaurant was top notch! He remembered the names of each of our family members, the drinks we preferred and how both of my sons liked their pizza and cheeseburgers prepared (as they had minor special requests). The two young ladies on the morning shift at Starbucks were also quite sweet and efficiently managed a very busy pace. The remodeling was quite lovely and the grounds were very well maintained. If I ever have need to travel to the area again, I will definitely stay here again.

Very clean and helpful staff.

The hotel has been recently rennovated. The room was modern, spacious and very clean. I wish we could have stayed to use the pool!

It was ok- over priced. So I went to rent a room at the desk and the charge was $20 more than me doing it online-stupid!! So I stepped back and reserved on my own and the front desk had ATTITUDE!!!

We checked in around midnight. The lobby was packed, but the front desk got everyone taken care of quickly. Property was clean, and had a nice Starbucks on site. Only stayed one night to visit family with one young child and a teenager. We’ve stayed there before and enjoyed the pool. Will be back again as this is our preferred hotel at this location.
