Quality Inn near Monument Health Rapid City Hospital

The elevator smells very bad, very musty and moldy and rotten. The bathroom in our room had mold in the shower, on the floor and on the wall in the shower. The desk chair was disgusting and in much need of replacement. The vinyl floor was swept, but not clean. My husband’s white socks were black on the bottom. Major updates and changes need to be made. DEFINITELY NOT worth the money we paid.

Friendly staff and convient location to restaurants and routes

Pool was down for maintenance. Room was in pretty good condition except for the bathroom…. Tile and shower in rough shape. Mostly quiet… comfortable bed. Staff very helpful

It was decent

They shut the water off to our side of the hotel about 930pm. No notice. My friend was in the shower. I could not shower till the next day. Staff was not helpful nor informative. Just Said to contact Choice hotels.

Clean room!

When we booked the room through Expedia we were not informed that the pool area was closed. This was a big disappointment for us.

Proximity to what we wanted to see Nothing really. The bathroom sink had poor water pressure. And the A/C needed more power. Kinda underwhelming

Quality Inn is not a remarkable property. It is clean and convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is tasty and we enjoyed the afternoon cookies. The coffee is excellent.

Hallways and elevators were musty, rooms were average at best and the pool was not working. So with a 5 year old, you can imagine how devastating that was. We didn’t even attempt the morning buffet. I’d rather pay for my breakfast.

Suitable for our needs and location

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. If the front desk recommends the Mexican restaurant around the corner, avoid it at all costs - we threw away $35 on the worse food ever - which we had to throw. The facility was what we needed - a clean, roomy, comfortable room with a nice bathroom/shower.

Great location and several restaurants in walking distance. Friendly staff. A/C was little too loud for us so had to turn it off before going to bed. Breakfast was nice but I wish they rotated hot items. Shower water pressure was great. Food was same everyday. Juice and coffee were pretty good. Pool was closed for some reason druing our 4 days of stay. Exercise room smelled very musty. I wish they refreshed exercise room regularly. Overall it was an average hotel.

Staff was very helpful with booking another night at the price I had online and for the hospital rate.

It’s in a good location for going to Mt. Rushmore. It’s really dirty and run down.

Everyone was very nice, and our room was very clean

the friendly staff the floors in our room were disgusting and covered in hair. Didn’t seem like it was very well cleaned. the bedding made us itchy. Super sketchy part of town.
