Travelodge by Wyndham Rapid City

The property looks like it hasn’t been taken care of for years. The door on my room did not close all the way. The door striker looks like it is about to fall off (I have pics). The room looked old and dingy. No lights on the second floor walk way so it’s pitch black at night. Just overall a very old run down looking place. Not what I was expecting from a well known and used to be good brand.

It was a nice place to stay.

These rooms were decent, but definitely not worth the money that we paid. There was mold in the bathroom that was just painted over and there were bees everywhere outside.

Excellent hotel for the price. Great bed, quiet air conditioner and very clean. Will stay again.

Was great overall very friendly staff seems to be family run which is nice. Very busy with sturgis rally but well kept. Breakfast could have been better but not bad.

Clean room. Bathroom outdated. No real extras, but great for passing through one night

The staff was great, but the property needs better maintenance, the rooms are presentable, but could use some deep detailed cleaning.

Good Location and Great Breakfast in the morning, Good Service.

We had no TV for our entire stay. There were infested bugs/ ants coming from the bathroom mirror every night and would take over the bathroom sink area. We asked for assistance and to be placed in another rooms was told no more vacancy and that those ant bugs come out every day by hotel staff. Would not recommend. It was not a $100 room. If I could include the video of the ants/ bugs we took I would. Will not be going g there again.

Wifi did not work in our room.

Room had bedbugs. Staff was helpful and offered a different room but no refund,

Room was outdated, had to clean the AC screen, sofa had dust, chair was sticky, greasy. Bathroom tub didn't work properly. Breakfast was clean but used frozen eggs no taste.

Only issue is my wife is 5ft and couldn't reach the ac to turn it down

Staff was great, but pool was dirty. It had a lot of dead bugs. other than that it was a great stay

Very disappointed. Review said it was excellent which is the reason why I chose. But we found that to be very wrong. There were old old French fries behind the night stand. The toilet was dirty. There were lots of hairs in the tub. The breakfast dining room wasn’t very clean. I didn’t know the room was in a separate building so getting ice was very inconvenient, especially when it was boring down rain. I did think the coffee was good. Will never stay here again.

Staff was very friendly & helpful.

I definitely recommend staying here. The woman that checked us in was the nicest person I have met in all my experiences with hotels. The room was comfortable, it has its own entrance which is wonderful. The shower pressure is excellent, everything was clean and very nice and there’s breakfast!

Air conditioning was very load other room noise. Very outdated. Limited breakfast.
