Travelodge by Wyndham Rapid City

We arrived into a lobby with no air conditioning and doors open. Red Flag. We were put at the very end of the property to see an elderly man sitting outside his door smoking and drinking alcohol. Upon entering the room, it was very hot. Thermostat didn't work to find out later was the heat. Tried to call but no phone connection. Drove back and she said to plug in cord or reset. Moved a desk for plug only to find rat poop. Found a small window unit in bathroom. I was uncomfortable staying there so we checked out immediately.

When we arrived we notice the bathroom was very duty and had no toilet paper we had to call for them to come clean it was disgusting very bad experience never again are we staying there in any of travel lodge hotels

Parking was terrible, due to lack of parking if you had any type of trailer. There was a pickup truck with a trailer spread across 5 spaces right in front of my room, and a car that looked like it may had been abandoned.

Booked a room online, when I checked in it was not the room I chose. Horribly filthy, the floors were not clean. The toilet did not flush. Ended up leaving. Do not recommend staying here.

The stay was great! Very comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast. The staff was amazing and very friendly and helpful.

Found bugs I’m my bed within the first hour. I asked for a refund and still trying to get one. Definitely not staying there again

You get what you pay for! There is a reason this room is cheap,The room was old and very dirty, when asked for clean sheets I was told I couldn't have any because they "knew" the sheets were fresh. The location was ok but I wouldn't recommend staying unless you dont mind run down dirty hotels.

Well maintained, clean property. Breakfast is great.

The rooms were nice and clean.. we arrived late in the evening and were out early in the morning.. everyone slept well..

The pictures in the Expedia booking is not what is advertised and is a run down old hotel. It appears they tried to do updates but is still old and dirty with black mold in bathroom. Air conditioner did not work properly and run by East Indians and poorly run and maintained. Do not stay there.

Was in Rapid for a baseball game for my nephew. Was a little hesitant about the place first, but the guy at the front desk was very attentive. I wanted a room next to my brother in law, and nephew, and he make that happen for no extra charge. Will stay again if in town for another baseball game for my nephew!

Very attentive staff and great breakfast. Rooms were newly remodeled and clean.

The room was a quiet property and great rest. Although, the room was far from the ice machine and the pool was.empty and there was a large black widow in the bathroom furnace.

The counter had crumbs and sauce on it and had clearly never been wiped down. The cabinets and other surfaces were very dusty. The window and window sills were filthy, with thick black dust that had obviously accumulated over months without being cleaned. The bed has a strange frame with space on edges, and you can easily see how dirty it is. The pillows were another disappointment. This is something I’ve consistently experienced with Wyndham hotels. The pillows are very cheap and uncomfortable. The queen bed only came with three small pillows that were so flat they looked almost empty. The bathroom was also not cleaned thoroughly. The building is very old, and it seems the property owner has made little effort to repair or maintain broken fixtures. We paid a high price for a two-night stay, which was completely unfair considering the poor quality and cleanliness of the room. To make matters worse, I ended up cleaning the room myself immediately after we checked in. When I informed the front desk that the room was not clean, the employee simply looked surprised and did nothing. She didn’t offer to have the room cleaned or move us to a cleaner room, so I had no choice but to clean it myself. I have a child who had just undergone surgery and needed a clean, safe place to rest. This was a terrible experience, and I would not stay here again.

Nothing The room we reserved did not exist in this hotel. We were not given any type of refund or accommodations for their false advertising. The rooms were dirty and disgusting. Left over soap in the shower from the previous person. Place was not what was advertised on the site
