I was real nervous about staying here because of poor reviews I saw, after booking the room. If you're looking for a no frills place to stay, this will do. I was pulling a 16ft trailer and there was no place to park. I took a chance and left my truck and trailer in Walmart parking over night (which is acroos the street from hotel). The tv wouldn't come on either. The room was clean , which was my main concern, so i was pleasantly surprised upon my check in. For a one night stop and a clean place to stay, this fits that description

Arrived to find the front desk unattended. area was dirty. Stairs to the room were dirty. Our room was still being cleaned when we tried to enter. Smell in the room was terrible. Broken glass window. Overpowering smoke and cleaner odors. Our family ended up with sore throat stuffy noses and felt terrible the next morning after our stay. Find somewhere else to stay for the night.

Check in was fine, but i had to go back to the front desk a few times because my key card would not work. Finally she went to my room with me to make sure it would work properly. The room was clean. The air conditioner had a funny odor which made my room smell bad. But the air conditioner worked well. I could not get any channels on the tv, I had to unplug it to turn it off. The hotel needs to be updated really bad. The bed was very comfortable.

Just about everything that could be wrong with this room and the front desk materialized. The room door cards didn’t work. The room refrigerator stopped working, and then restarted after plugging it into a different socket. There was no room service (even when we asked). The internet was intermittent and different staff gave us different passcodes. The shampoo in the shower wasn’t functional. The paint and plaster was peeling in the bathroom. The air conditioner was hard to figure out. And the staff was often unsmiling and even rude at times. We checked out a day early to find a better place, which we did.

Room was filthy. The place stinks, and all the other things people wrote in their reviews are facts! Place needs burned. The desk lady wasn’t shocked at all when I said, we aren’t staying. No apologies just silence. I was to upset and running late for a concert so didn’t get her name. Just wanted off the property. Was told I needed to contact Expedia for my money back as we didn’t stay.

I will not recommend this place to anyone

it was dirty, nasty no elevator definitely not toddler friendly. Says they offer breakfast but they don’t.

The room was quite. We had booked a room with two double beds and a sofa bed for our group of 5 people. When arriving at the property the receptionist told us that they never propose rooms for more than 4 people. After checking he agreed that it was what we had booked. There was a sofa bed in the room, but it couldn't be unfolded. When we asked for bed sheets for the sofa bed, we got pillowcases! The receptionist seemed to be completely stoned: drunk/drug or both ?? They had no soap or shampoo. Only two towels for our group of 5. After the initial appearance at the reception desk the receptionist was out of reach: just a sign with a phone number to send a text, which of course was not answered... The property had apparently changed management team and seemed to be under renovation: we could see lots of rooms with open doors and rubble in them.

I didn’t like it. They let me check in and didn’t tell me that there was no TV no Wi-Fi no nothing. nothing

The room was dirty. The door didn’t even close. There was no breakfast. And it smelled. I didn’t even stay, I left after 2” minutes because of how dirty and unsafe it felt.
-
Nothing Look it didn't have breakfast, the pool didn't work and the area around it was dirty. No daily room service and I can continue....
-
It was close to the highway. It was poorly maintained. The room was too warm, the bathroom had damaged floor tiles, and the hotel staff were very difficult to contact.

The guy working the front desk spent most of his time sleeping in his car right at the front entrance. Awkward!! There was no drinking water of coffee available at the front desk. The hallways and stairs were dirty. Outside Garbage right beside the entrance where the front dest guy was sleeping was overflowing. Room had huge wads of hair on the floor. The toilet paper was so cheap I didn’t even know it gave such. No hair dryer, no shampoo. Zero house keeping. The air conditioning wasn’t working properly. If Expedia says they offer free breakfast that is false advertising because there is no breakfast.

Expedia and/or their website showed a dresser and microwave - they had neither. They showed a large frig, but had a small one. Expedia listed a continental breakfast and they only had water by the front desk. The following didn't work: wi-fi, TV and ice machine, but not to worry - they were working on it. I had two rooms and the bathtub, in one, didn't drain. They don't have an elevator and for this 78 year old that wasn't good; especially, when carrying luggage. I was there for five days. They didn't clean the room or bring some clean towels. If you wanted clean towels, you had to go and get them. Their pictures on their website aren't the actual pictures of the facility. My advice is to find another hotel!!!!

Rodeway Inn is a horrible place. A homeless steal my husband sneakers at the first night. The bathroom was full of bugs and roaches and the room smells bad. There was a lot of homeless and drug people around the hotel and inside too. One day I was in the bathroom and I started to smell cigarette smoke, and when I went out into the hallway, the person cleaning the rooms was smoking there. The front desk is always empty and they leave a note saying they won't be there and that if you need anything you should call a phone number. The pool have worms. They don’t have security at the hotel and the door to the room didn't close properly you had to slam it to close properly. I do not recomend this place at all.

When I complained, I was promised that my charge would be reversed. I just got a notification that the hotel transaction went through and charged my account. These are under new management and have the cheapest rooms but you know it’s because this location is not good. Would never recommend. Just pulling up, you can tell it’s not good. The front desk has a paper for guests to read about bringing additional guests and not taking too much coffee and enforcing quiet time. The literally had to spell out proper behavior for hotels… But they didn’t even verify I was who I said I was. No ID required to check in. Just took my credit card. We’ve got 4 kids by the way. Not a safe or respectable place for families.

TV didn't work, the coffee pot didn't work, everything was old and gross.

First off we would’ve left the first hour if we hadn’t already gotten screwed out of being reimbursed for one hotel. Second DON’T STAY HERE! The staff is never around. The place smells of cat urine terribly. There’s no WiFi and no breakfast although the hotel says it’s included. Our mini fridge froze our food even though it was on the lowest setting. Worst experience!

When we got to check in (about 8pm), we stood there waiting for 5 minutes talking before ringing the bell to get checked in since nobody had come to the front. The guy was just chilling around the corner. The room was fine, appeared clean. The pool was disgusting. It was cold, had things floating and things settled on the bottom. Went back to the room only to find out there had been a dead body found there 4 days before! WHY ARE THEY STILL OPEN???? I was so disgusted, we packed up and left. Didn't even try for my money back (although I wish I would have); just put my room card down on the counter and walked out.

First hotel room we were given wasn't cleaned at all. The second room we were given had a broken light above the sink, the door was jammed and needed full body weight to open and close, and one the keys we were orginally given didn't work.
