Our bathroom had paint chipping on the floor from the walls. There was sign in our bathroom and we were told we would not get towels or clean sheets as staying 3 days. Only on 4th day is sheets and towels changed. The pool and hot tub out of order. Several days only breakfast options bread to make toast, ran out of small yogurts and ran out of milk, ran out of waffle mix. The coffee machine was broken for a day. A nice front desk gal set up a 10 cup coffee maker but honestly slow machine and many hotel guests waiting for coffee. The area surrounding the hotel felt unsafe. We seen several drunk people around the hotel. Also, seen people loitering by fence near Walmart smoking pot and drinking. We will not stay here again.

Staff was accommodating and welcoming. Use the parking access from the residential side to reduce congestion on the main street. Very, very good location for walkable attractions; beaches, casual eats, and shopping.

Location little rough. Rough people

This hotel has a very grimy feeling to it. Things aren’t well taken care of - curtains were tore, sheet rock had holes, lamp shades were missing. The room didn’t have any shampoo or conditioner, so had to get a small bottle from the front desk. Breakfast is a joke unless cereal is what you’re hoping for.

It doesn't look like the photo! Broken missing items,be careful dont leave items in your car signs! Loud doors slaming, broken handles on them

Faucet broke bathroom. 2nd stay in two weeks, no coffee at front desk at checkout. Breakfast very little selection, both times at 7-8am no batter for waffles. I would not recommend this property to anyone to stay.

Room was a place to stay. Great location but the hot tub was down and the bathroom could have been a little bit better. Breakfast was lacking. Expect a line at the waffle maker because that’s really it other than coffee and some toast. Overall it wasn’t terrible but for the price I would stick to a Hampton Inn

Looks like mold in the bathroom. Freezer didn’t work. Shower head minimum water flow. Water in shower drips all the time. Breakfast no fresh fruit like apples or bananas. Bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. Bed was not even level, see photos. Woke up with migraine.

No soap nor shampoo in restroom, poor breakfast.

Booked it because we had driven for 12 hours and wanted a hot tub. It was not working.

Problems continued: room smelled so bad I used my own air freshener. We had to request hangers, soap, lotion and shower caps—none provided at first; they had no lotion or shower caps. No in-room safe. We had to carry all luggage up the stairs. Short drapes blew open with the AC, exposing the bed and letting in light. Pillows were high and hard, causing a headache. Next morning: no blow dryer or iron. Staff promised them “right away” but after 30 minutes my husband went downstairs to get them. We needed the advertised breakfast for our 7:15 a.m. tour shuttle. At 6:30 a.m. nothing was out, so we bought food elsewhere. When breakfast appeared it was sparse—not enough eggs, no tongs. Coffee dispenser was often empty. Getting a Do Not Disturb sign required tracking staff down after the front desk was empty and promises went unkept. This hotel is understaffed and poorly maintained. Rooms are unclean and under-equipped. We should get a refund for the four unused breakfasts, but they refused because of the third-party booking. I will never stay here again and cannot recommend it. Canadian Travelodges are far better. Frustrating start and end to our trip. Consider other options in Rapid City.

Terrible service, toilet paper us on the sink, no holder. Rooms are sketchy. Pay a bit more and stay somewhere else

Dirtiest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Microwave had food. splattered all in it, food left in the freezer. Drink spilled or in refrigerator. Candy on the floor, Gummies malt balls… enter the bed by the pedestal and behind the TV. There was lettuce and salt packets in the middle drawer of the dresser . The track that the closet doors ran in, was filthy and looked like it had not been cleaned in months.. the room stank like cigarette smoke and greasy food. The beds were clean. The shower was clean as was the bathroom. . I was unable to get another room in Rapid City for under $200. I tolerated the night and showed the videos I took to the clerk at the front desk. This hotel is filthy, outdated, and the people that work there look like local meth heads Stay away..

Good location. No breakfast as advertised.

Pool close. Hot tub no working. Breakfast very bad, no food. Stayed 3 days but never clean the room, although ones requested. Made a terrible mistake in booking at Travelodge.

I had a terrible experience. I only stayed one night and the internet was down and then breakfast wasn’t available the next morning at 6:30 am. Other hotels I’ve stayed have breakfast ready by 6am. I had to get on the road and left at 7am and the breakfast was still not ready! I heard other customers complaining as well.
