We stayed at this hotel for one night while we attended a concert at Santander Arena. While the staff was friendly and helpful, the hallways and rooms had a strong pet odor and recreational smoke smell. Every floor smelled that way, so there was no use in asking for another room. Part of rooms had been refreshed and were fairly clean, but the carpets were stained and needed to be replaced in both the hallways and the rooms. Based on our observations while we were there, this seemed like a hotel that had many long-term residents versus a hotel for out-of-town visitors. We have no idea how the hotel has a rating of 8.6 (Excellent) on Expedia. If you are coming to the area to visit, I would be aware of these conditions.

Plenty of parking. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and well equipped for cooking.

I didn’t like the idea that you have to stay seven days or more to have someone come in and clean your room. I had a problem with the shower in the bathroom. spoke to the manager on at the time. Didn’t like the response that I got from her I asked about the water not being as warm. she told me that I didn’t want my body to burn like red. I am an Afro,American woman my body would never turn red.I thought that was unusual for someone to speak to customer like that not the proper words. very unprofessional.

The location was very good. There were stores, eating places and gas stations nearby which made it convenient. Parking was convenient also in that I did not have to walk very far to get to my vehicle. Room was very clean. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. He was able to give me so places to eat at and stores to shop for food.
