Best Western Plus Hilltop Inn

Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of options, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The only downside was that there was a noticeable odor from the air conditioner in our room. It wasn’t overwhelming, but it was noticeable when the AC was running. Hopefully, the hotel can address this with regular maintenance. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and felt the hotel offered good value for the price. We would consider staying here again if we’re visiting the Redding area.

Nice building, great restaurant on the property. The building was nice but the room was a bit dated and strong odor of dampness.

The hotel was very clean, staff was so nice and helpful. Pool area was excellent and the restaurant was delicious both for dinner and the complimentary breakfast. Will definitely stay here again!

It’s ok if you don’t have a dog They charge $40 dog fee, but provide nothing to dog owners. You can’t go to the pool area, sit in the outdoor cafe or leave the room for a few minutes with a fog. There is not a designated place for dogs to poop.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and the staff are always pleasant and helpful. C. R Gibbs is a great restaurant. Will stay there again when in Redding. Clean. Centrally located. Comfortable bed.

Staff is amazing. Property is well appointed and updated. Cleaning staff was very active at this location. Room was nice. Has a small refrigerator but no microwave. The attached restaurant has great food for those who wish to stay on property to dine.

Great place to bring the grandchildren! Nice pool and hot tub. The breakfast is very well done and the staff are helpful. I would like a few more choices in cereal, better pancakes, and more variety in pastries. We stayed three nights and had five people. The French toast was very good!

The breakfast was terrible. Not much to eat. The scrambled eggs are simply the worst scrambled egg I have tasted. It took some talent to have eggs come out so badly.

Bed was way to soft. Toilet appeared to be taken from a pre-school bathroom, could not get much lower. Just warm water in morning.

The stay was pleasant, bed supper comfortable!! A plus because our weekend was spent hiking and exploring Mt Shasta area. The breakfast was delicious, good options and nice strong coffee. Clean and service was great. Didn’t get to use the pool area.. so can’t comment on that. Overall, our stay was very good!
