Reviews
-
The price was very reasonable. It was clean and comfortable.
-
Front desk staff was very good and cooperative Dirty and stained ceiling in the room Very dirty Carpet in the room Missing Table No fan in the bathrooms Very cheap quality coffeemaker in the room Light switches were broken
-
Breakfast was Okay. Broken waffle maker. There was a line to check in and they had to call in additional people to do it faster checkin. Was an Okay experience
-
Not the fanciest hotel out there, but price well justified for the quality. Clean. Staff is helpful. If you need to stay a night before moving to your next destination, it is a good option.
-
Room was big and clean, staff responded in a timely manner for requests. Breakfast was included and good.
-
The facilities were not clean and also very poor maintenance
-
the beds are really small, the pool was filthy and the carpets were disgusting in the room
-
Sink was clogged in bathroom, blackout curtains were broken and allowed extremely bright parking lot light to come in. Appliances in the room, fridge, coffee maker, microwave. needed to be plugged in to use, only 1 outlet for 3 appliances. There were also many random holes in the desk, dresser and walls. We did not eat breakfast...

The first room we were assigned had a door that took a good push to open/close, and upon entering, it was clear that they had not cleaned it since the last guest left. So they gave us a different room that was cleaned. Breakfast was basic, but so busy that we didn't stay long. The area was way too small for the number of people eating.

Room was clean but needed renovation. Carpet had stains. Furniture was worn out. Electric outlet wasn’t functional. Room had only one small trash can. Door was not shutting by itself until you push it hard which made a big noise. There was no sign of privacy on the door. Parking was good. Breakfast was good and variety. Waffle machine was out of order. Overall wasn’t that I expected cause I can see the difference between other La Quinta Inn which I had been.

Availability No hot water.

A roach cralled out from behind the bathroom mirror. The wood on the bathroom door was flapping. I took pictures and will quit Whynham over this.

Pretty much everything was horrible. I feel bad for the staff that has to manage this terrible hotel. Clearly they have no budget for improvements or extra staff. We switched rooms because the first one had a courtyard door that was very unsafe and didn't lock or seal properly. None of the windows have screens or protection. Carpets are covered in stains. Couch was ancient and had totally deflated cushions. Bathroom has mold on ceiling because there are no fans inside. There was leftover black hairs in the bedding and around the bathroom. Sink doesn't drain and backs up. There was an open container of milk left in our fridge. Bed is firm as a rock and they did not have extra blankets. Breakfast is slop and greasy. The whole place needs to be repainted as it's dinged everywhere with stains and weathering from age. Pretty bad condition for what people are rating a 10. Seems like fake reviews. Would never stay here again. Also Hot tub isn't working indefinitely (not that I would trust that water). Left early because it was so bad and not worth staying.

It was fine for a short stop

The pool was closed for the day but it has a nice pool area, plenty of seats too. The courtyard is an ice place to sit and relax. The room was clean and spacious.
-
They had a decent breakfast, tho it ran put fast and no one refilled the egg or bacon. the gentleman who checked me in was very friendly. We only had 2 towels for 3 guest there wasnt tissue, no wash clothes. No extra TP in the room. It was a 1/4 roll when I got to my room. Couldn't get ahold of someone to get another roll.the pool was closed. The breakfast was decent but was gone and not replenished at 8 am

Breakfast area was gross and dirty. Food quality sub par.
-
Nice pool and good breakfast.
-
Extremely dirty, there was blood and puke on the carpet in the first room. The office offered us cleaning supplies, but we demanded a new room. All amenities were closed and they only stocked breakfast once. There was drug activity on the second floor. Marijuana smell from multiple rooms. Elevator was 3 years expired service. Will never stay again, but was forced to stay when they denied refund.

They were responsive to questions. The location is great for traveling around Redding. The rooms and bedding are a bit dated. It was a bit difficult to get coffee in the morning as it went quickly.
