Comfort Inn Redding Near I-5

Breakfast was very good

It was very hot in the common spaces and the breakfast space was extremely hot. Breakfast was good though. None of the ice machines were producing ice but the front desk clerk would go grade you a few if you asked. Room was fine and nothing fancy. We needed the couch pull out bed and it would not lay flat at all but sloped considerably. Overall it was fine and the staff at the desk were great but wouldn’t be my first choice to stay at again

Bathroom sink was poorly designed, set up for a very tall person, basin too far from the front edge.

Smelly room but clean . Ice machine broken on floor - it’s 100degrees in Redding,CA and this is necessary. Microwave to work . The property look very old and run down .

The staff was great, the rooms are dated. No back to the remote, the toilet seat had chips in it, the shower ceiling was beginning to show signs of mold spots, there was a crack in the tub wall and water was either warm or scalding, if turned cooler, you basically turned it off. The bed was big, clean, lots of pillows. But ownership needs to work on updating the rooms.

Staff was friendly and very helpful.

The room was very large and comfortable. It had a fold-out bed/couch. Bathroom was very. clean. Had shampoo and conditioner along with soap. Coffee machine, small fridge with freezer, and microwave and TV. The only thing it needs is some USB plugs.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfast before leaving. Overall, it was a very nice, comfortable stay.

They stole 113$ from me. I called to cancel because I was on a long road trip and I wasnt able to get as fare as Redding they refused my cancelation and charged me without concent, when the advertisement said book now pay when I get there. Well clearly not getting there doesn't matter and they refuse to help me or even answer the phone so I can explain. The lady would pick up say her name and as soon as I began to ask to speak to someone i was hung up on three times in a row. So clearly intentional. They are greedy money mongers and the hotel is not amazing or even good. When I pass back threw im gonna take pictures and post everywhere how and what is so awfull about this place. I know its a corporation, and I dont matter to them whatsoever but its unfair and they are flat out uncaring as people and a business.

Disappointed how stained and dirty the carpet was, for the price we paid. Your staff is pleasant and doing their best but seem wildly overworked. Every interaction was good but they were dealing with a million things at once. Understaffing isn’t fair to employees.

This was a great stay. Great customer service.

Needed an cool spot to rest on a very hot day and lots of driving. Room was clean and enjoyed good breakfast options and cold lemon water and coffee available in the lobby.

The room was a bit outdated but functional.

This hotel is really rundown and dirty. Huge stains on the carpets in the rooms. Our host was so helpful and got us a different room. Not much nicer, but a bit cleaner. The pool was small, but nice. The hot tub was empty and taped off and not usable. The gym had torn plastic separating part of the room. The morning breakfast was fine and the man working was working really hard and friendly. All staff here are friendly, but if clean and well kept is your style, stay somewhere else.
