Comfort Inn Redding Near I-5

Breakfast was good.

The only issue with property was that the jets in the spa were not working. Breakfast was great, and tge room was nice.

Clean room, room was spacious, had a fridge and microwave that came in handy. Staff was friendly, they offer a hot breakfast, typical eggs, sausage, toast/waffles, cereal variety. WiFi didn’t work that was inconvenient. But for one night it worked. They are pet friendly, however they do not have a pet relief area you will have to walk a bit to find a spot.

Property is a lot dirtier than other Comfort Inn hotels, the breakfast area was too small the food was in a room and the coffee station in the lobby which made it very inconvenient. Would not stay at this location again.

We found a camera mounted on the TV in the room and when my husband looked at the SIM card it was the night staffs voice

I booked 4 consecutive days, but when we arrived, they had to boot us out after a 2 night stay. Re: maintenance, said we'd be without water. So I packed up loaded car & went to Red Roof Inn where they set me up for our remaining two nights. It would have been excellent had they told us they'd comp us those two nights. The clerk was only going to charge me two nights, but paid the four. Didn't want to take a chance on, 'you only paid for two nights, bye'. It was exhausting. It was pretty messed up.

Breakfast was good - warm breakfast included waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, and toast. There were pastries and cereal and yogurt as well. The coffee was awful. Location is good, near a few kinda pricier restaurants (not near fast food) and the 5 and 44 freeways.

Property was very dated and the WiFi did not work. There was a work around through an outside source available but I did not use it. The desk staff were excellent and very helpful.

Staff and the room was good Getting overcharged on my credit card even though I paid through booking.com. Didn't get a receipt, refund or anything.

Gym could use a rack of dumbbells

Difficult to find, GPS had us in circles. A little noisy in the early am - people leaving.

Not a big fan of the shower. Showerhead poorly placed.

Went here due to reviews and if it wasn’t so late and the non-refundable room we would have went elsewhere. Room was large with 2 queen beds. Sheets were clean but the blankets were old with holes. The AC filter looked as if it hasn’t been cleaned for months, (I pulled and cleaned) carpet was old with many stains (glad we had slip-on foot wear) cuz we wouldn’t walk on it barefoot. Shower head was cracked and sprayed water all over the bathroom along with on/off knob. The room over all was ran down and very lack luster.

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Thanks for the awesome stay and breakfast hit the spot!

The room was good size and the bead was comfortable. We had no towels, cups or soap in the room when we arrived. We had to go to the desk and ask for them. Front desk staff were helpful and nice.
