Motel 6 Redding, CA - Central

THERE WAS A DENNYS IN WALKING DISTANCE. THE HOTEL IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. THERE IS NO PARKING FOR MY VAN AND CAR TRAILER. I PARKED BETWEEN DENNYS AND THE HOTEL.

Very clean, convenient location to food, quiet enough!

Wear sandals at all times lol. Those floors were really dirty. TV also would lose signal a lot.

The parking lot looked to have enough parking. The room was clean and had towels. We didn't see or hear any pests, but we did hear some of the neighbors' TV.

Keep the rooms cleaned. Our room was so gross

The only positive was Abraham at the front desk, who can be working at a better hotel place.

The place was very clean; the bathroom was bigger than expected and just as clean. The only issue was that one of the lamps didn't work, but otherwise I recommend this location for travellers.

The room was supposed to be handicap accessible. It did have a shower designed for a handicap person. The room itself was small and not easy to maneuver around. The coffee was on the poor side. It tasted nasty.

Loved the staff very helpful and nice rooms were nice at first glance Roaches in both rooms I was relocated in Tv barely worked

Found a cockroach in the bathroom. One of the bath towels had black dirt markings and was folded and hung. The bedsheets had stains on them. Found hairs in between the blankets. Seems like their housekeeping didn’t change the sheets and towels that looked clean just because it looked untouched. Obviously did a rush job cleaning. The mattress is very worn and was sagging. Everything in the room was just old and unmaintained. I wouldn’t recommend this motel at all. I got what I paid for because it was the cheapest at the time of booking. The only positive about this motel was the location since it’s next to a restaurant and gas station with convenient store. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

Cable TV went out during the evening... Did not return during my stay.

The room was infested with cockroaches so they moved me to a different room and it wasn’t clean. They refunded some of my money but I won’t ever go back there

The beds were terrible, so thin you could almost feel the box spring. The bathroom looked to be newly renovated which was nice but there were roaches crawling around.

Staff was very pleasant.

The sheets feel unpleasant. Everything else is fine.

Too many homeless hanging around and inside the hotel property
