Motel 6 Redding, CA - Central

- The bed had crumbs, hair, lint, and stains in the bedding. - The floor and surfaces had crumbs and dried-up liquid marks. - The sight of the shower made me decide not to take a shower. - There was dog food in the fridge. I called the front desk with the sticky, dirty phone, but no one answered. So, I walked over there and asked for clean bedsheets. I got two wrinkled basic sheets but no pillow cases. There is no potable water available, and the pool is closed. I considered sleeping in my car despite the thermometer reading 90º at 10 PM

Genuinely one of the most disgusting motels that I’ve stayed at. Make sure to check if you get your security deposit back because they tried to steal mine. Would have had a better experience if I slept in the parking lot.

Management had a great attitude, everything else was terrible. Any sort and type of stains you can imagine were present in the room

Room was very basic not that clean, shower head very loose and had roaches in bathroom and inside the small fridge I won’t be staying here again

The thing is, I was given a handicap room when I didn't need it, the air conditioner was so loud that is was hard to sleep. I find it hard to believe that a handicap person would be happy in a room with no place in the bathroom to put your toiletries, there was just a small sink, toilet and a handicap shower with very little water pressure. The room looked clean, how ever, I had dropped a bottle cap behind the little refrigerator, so I had to move it so I could get the cap and I found more then the cap. There where 2 roaches having fun under the refrigerator, it looked like it hadn't been clean in a while.

When we arrived the front desk is closed. When the staff arrived, he unlocked the door. As a courtesy, he should have opened the door. The whole complex smells smoke.

handicapped room was incredibly nice

It was just ok. Had a stomp on a few “bugs” even though the room appeared clean. Very noisy people upstairs with kids running up and down till 11pm. Random knock at the door at 10:30 lookin for someone from who knows who. Front desk would not let you check in a second before 3.

GREAT and handy location off of the freeway. Clean rooms. Easy in and out.

Good staff and good breakfast

It was a quick stay for the weekend and it was great especially for the price. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. I wanted a room closer to the office and near cameras since I was traveling alone and I appreciate the staff making me feel safe.

I was somewhat concerned about safety.

Basic room for the price. Person on duty was helpful. Bed was better than expected.
