Sonesta ES Suites Reno

We had a good stay at Sonesta except for a couple of things. The AC was really noisy and also as our room was next to the freeway it was very loud all night. The room didn’t have a body wash all along the stay and the staff informed that they out. The location of the Sonesta stay was really good and was accessible to all the shops close by. Thanks

I had no phone in my room (#210). I cld front desk from my cell and was told they would bring a phone and never did. When I checked in I had to yell "hello, anyone here" because no one was in front when I arrived at 8:30 pm. Finally someone came.

I like that it had a kitchen! Very convenient when you don’t want to eat out! The pots and pans were not good to cook with the food

The hallway smelled terrible. There was blood splatter all over the wall from the exit / entrance we used on the side. The hallway at 4pm was full of used linen bags and trash.

They are pretty awesome no hassle they take care of u it’s the best place I’ve ever stayed at

Not the best, no blankets in the room or any extra sheets for pullout bed. Their service wasn't great either.

Great place! It’s my go-to in Reno! It sucks that the pool isn’t open!

I stay there every time I go to Reno cause it’s away from downtown which is rundown. I like the closeness to the amenities I want to do. The staff is great and very helpful. The breakfast is a great way to start my day

Staff was friendly enough , I didn’t feel the need to complain about it to them but definitely the cleaning needs to be more thorough.

Cute suites and reasonably priced. However, there was a stack of CRUSTY socks in the dresser in my room. The smell was HORRENDOUS and I gagged as I threw them into the trash. Cleaning crew needs to check drawers after each use so no one else encounters that kind of surprise!

I liked the staff though - they where very nice and helpful.

While checking in the staff is super helpful and friendly. The people at the front desk are great. Breakfast was always fresh and maintained and the area was clean. The general are could of been a little cleaner ie. vacumed more by the cleaning staff. The pool is still inoperable. Out room was large and the bed comfortable. I'd stay here again.

Garbage under the sink was not emptied and had a bad odor. Had to alert the front desk who did send someone. Footboard of the bed had broken off and was leaning against the wall in the bedroom. Smoke detector had Band-Aids stuck over it. No extra rolls of toilet paper (had to ask front desk). Dishwasher was full and not emptied (dishes were clean).

The staff was friendly enough. The front desk wasn’t able to log on due to the manager not being on site nor were they able to check me in fully. I had to wait to get into my room without a key and didn’t receive a key until 9:00. You can’t change the ac without a key and when you are able to change it the room is still hot. They charge a parking fee for everyday that you leave your car in the parking lot. The room seemed clean enough but as I was unpacking and getting ready for the night. There was hair, dust, and stains from food on/in the sheets. The lotion and hand soap next to the bathroom sink wasn’t properly installed and literally came off the wall screws and all. There is pink and black mold in the shower. There was a dead fly in the sink. The staff is doing the best they can with what they have. I would’ve have loved just to have a clean room with working ac.

No extra blankets or sheets for fold out bed , towels smelt, mattress was very dirty for the fold out bed.

This place was great also close to food and the grocery store. Very quiet and clean. The room was perfect with a full fridge, dishwasher, cups and utensils. Even a single stove top. Would recommend.
