SpringHill Suites by Marriott Reno

1. TV had a blue tint, hard to see. We called the front desk and she said she would have someone come to the room to look at it or exchange it out for another. No one ever came. 2. Room was never cleaned. We called the front desk and she said she would send someone to clean it. No one ever came. 3. There was blood stain on the carpet going into the bathroom. We called the front desk. She said we could change rooms, but we were already unpacked and ready to attend the event we came for. We did not have time to repack and move to another room. 4. Parking fee of $8.00 was never mentioned online at Expedia or when we checked into Springhill Suites. The first time we heard about it was when we were checking out of the hotel. Finally, at $250.00 per night, these things were unacceptable.

I hope that mngmt will be flagged for this review- I have been coming to Springhill for at least 10+ years- I follow a group each year, sometimes 2 or 3 times a year- 1st of all we used to get a discount for staying at Springhill because our group stays for the weekend and it is convenient to spend the night IN the hotel and not have to travel for cheaper stays- this weekend was the worst! For being a "resort" hotel I was very dissatisfied- Yes the staff is excellent- the front desk Carlos, has been there for a long time- always good to see him- Yes it is clean! We were on the 3rd floor this time. The shower water pressure was horrible! 3 settings on the head-solid flow (that of a poor watering hose)- 2nd setting a "sprinkle" 3rd a "power" stream of 3 "pulsating" streams- Ha Ha Ha!! The floor of the shower was SO slippery, I truly was frightened I was going to fall! Only 1 bar to grab, near the waterspout. The round spots that are supposed to have a grit on them have been worn flat from years of scrubbing- Yes the shower was clean and the bath products are a great convenience!- Their fabulous breakfast that is included with the stay was SAD! Sausage, not turkey option, Denver potatoes with sausage in them and of course the scrambled eggs. Choice of bread & bagels with butter,sour cream and jelly- OK. But only ONE toaster! 5 people deep-No waffle machine-Oatmeal was cold and near empty. Cereals and milk. I had yogurt for protein- Common Springhill-U R better than that!!

Everything about our stay was wonderful , Breakfast Housekeeping,Staff the only thing we were awaken on Saturday night from the room above us was not able to go back to sleep that was the only uncomfortable night

Super spacious room, clean, comfortable bed, responsive staff, good breakfast.

Initially, Checked us into a room that someone had used the shower? Paid parking was a surprise ($8/day)

We really enjoyed how comfortable the bed was. The nights were very quiet and they let us sleep in.

Breakfast was good. The check-in person put us at the end of the hall for quiet as requested. We were there for a surgery the next morning and needed rest. Would be nice to get a medical need discount for using the hotel nearest the surgery center.

Wonderful staff who worked with us in our time of being evacuated from the fires. Lovely property; very clean and good amenities. Thank you Spring Hill Suites for the days we needed to destress.
