TownePlace Suites Richland Columbia Point

Checked in on Friday afternoon, went to dinner and came back to discover that there was no cold water in our room. Went to bed thinking it would be better in am. It wasn't, the water was so hot that taking a shower was miserable. Had early baseball game, so when we return I went to front desk to inform them and they sent the maintenance person to our room. He informed us of the new upgrade to tank water system and there were issues with 3 other rooms and he couldn't fix it and had no solution. Hours later we tried the cold water again and it started to work. When I checked out on Sunday morning, I explained the situation again and asked for a discount. The person at the front desk didn't have the authority but would pass the message on to the manager. I asked them to call me as we had to leave. Received a call from assistant manager and she said that she would discount our room for the 2 nights, which in turned out to be $50. I said thank you but feel that we should have gotten one night free. Won't be staying there again.

Good location. Plenty to do. The hotel shouldn’t be the main event. Just an average place in a good walkable location.

The only thing is of you're a light sleeper, request a room further away from the big road or wear ear plugs because you can kinda hear the traffic from the major road.

Just note there is no pool anymore

Room clean, internet was a problem. Could not get devices on, even the tv at one point. Staff was very nice. Nice overall stay.

Spacious! Not the cleanest or newest but good amount of space which was nice for our family & friends visiting.

Great desk person, lots of information. Easy check in.

There were 5 of us in the room. It was very nice. The carpet was aged/stained, but everything else was pleasant. Would stay here again anytime I had a group of us.

The property is definitely NOT quiet with the highway noise. Breakfast was marginal and the coffee was terrible!

No pool as advertised

We specifically choose Towneplace Suites because we always have a great experience when we stay there.

Hotel and the rooms were well maintained and clean. Customer service was mediocre at best.

2. All of the plug-ins are too big, nothing can be plugged in 3. Bathroom door would not stay shut 4. Fold out couch couldn’t fold out we had to move 5. No sheets for fold out couch 6. Front desk gave us wrong sheets
