I love staying at the carnival is my home away from home very clean very good. Staff very polite. I did not get my deposit back. I usually do I call a few times to let them know. I still have not received my deposit back and they kept saying 3 to 5 business days. It is now August 1 and I still have not received it.

Got to the elevator to go to the room and horrible . The smell the floor the elevator just so nasty and DIRTY. Get into the room and right off the bat the sofa was disgusting nothing was whipped down had such a musty smell. I immediately called the front desk and asked for another room, which we got but NOTHING better than the last room. After driving over 6 hours I was exhausted so I ended up staying this one night but I was supposed to check out on Wednesday but I called the check out the next day and drove over 6 hours to get home. This hotel was so disgusting and so disappointing. Mind you the second room same thing nothing wiped down. The sink still had a spoon in it from the last people that stayed in the room? Are you kidding me? Housekeeping? Nope not here. Also the bathtub, water was not draining or still had water from the night prior from my shower. My recommendation. STAY AWAY.

The location seem to be nice we don't live in that area but it was quiet when I returned from my cousin's wedding. I spent $160 for one night I spent many hours driving to get to this hotel my cousin was getting married. I probably would have had a better night sleep at a Travelodge paying less money the general manager had a very nonchalant attitude about my complaint I said to him "You seem like you don't care about anything I'm saying sir it's probably because you guys get these kinds of complaints regarding the condition of this hotel is not good for the price"... The rooms was dirty if I had a broom I could have swept up a pile of hair that was all through the room, in the shower hair, it was hair on the sheets the gentleman at the front desk came up to change the sheets on the bed, he took a picture of the hair on the sheets saying "OMG this is not acceptable"... The beds are worn and there was a sinkhole in the mattress where people have been sleeping for years probably... I was there for one night I got up to get a cup of water and a roach was crawling around the kitchen sink I got a video of it this was at 4:00 a.m. I talk to the lady at the front desk told her the situation it was nothing she could do is what she said however she did offer me a soda. I told her I'm just going to take my things to the car because I don't want to take any bugs home so when the sun came up my family and I got showers and got out of there... I was really upset because I spent a lot of money for one night there. The saying is you get what you pay for and I don't think that was the case because for that price I expected to be in something luxurious and comfortable... I always stay at comfortable luxurious places I don't mind spending the money... I looked at the outside pictures and said the upkeep is probably nice I probably would have got a better night sleep at one of those cheaper hotels red roof inn etc... and then save some money.
