Motel 6 Richmond, VA - I-64 West

Well didnt stay we booked it and receive emails with confirmation and we drove from SC to VA and when we got there they had no room they said the reservation was canceled on there end and they stated they tried to contact me I received no emails or calls didnt know about it being canceled until i arrived.We had to find another hotel to stay at late at night.

The staff is amazing! The rooms are clean.

Room had a smart tv, which was nice. I had a non smoking room but it doesn’t really matter cause you’ll smell the smoke from everyone else’s blunts. Not a bad place to stay. I didn’t get a chance to use the kitchenette since I ate out. There was water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom. Pretty decent room for the price. I’ll book again

Motel 6 needs a complete overhaul. The carpets 1st floor and 2nd floor hallways needs to be replaced years ago. Rooms were ok,but needs refresh. Staff and hotel workers were very friendly and helpful which was a plus.

This was the worst hotel stay ever in 41 years!! Once checking in I had to use the bathroom. Once inside the bathroom and the door shut i realized there was no interior door knob, thank God my family was with me or I dont know how I would have got out. I immediately went downstairs to see about switching rooms was told they were sold out. She called the general manager and he followed me to the room. It was going on 10pm by this point. He said they were full and could not move us but I let him know the website showed rooms left to reserve he told me it wasnt true! I then realized the room had no TV in questioned the general manager as he was putting on a door knob, he said oh they didnt tell you? No i was not told the room may or may not have a tv. Ive never ever stayed in a room that did not already have a tv in it.he said it was normal. The manager did bring back a TV around 11pm!! We had checked in around 9:30pm, turned the air on 60 high because the whole hotel was hot. At 11:30pm it was still 81 degrees inside. Miserably hot in the room and throughout the whole hotelUpon checking out i had to hunt an employee down in their break room as I stood ar the front desk for 5 mins with a sign that read ring for service but was no bell to ring!!! Would sleep in my car next time!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The furnishings were sparse and utilitarian at best. No remote for tv and terrible quality. The price was good but I would not recommend. Not comfortable at all.

While the expected level of accommodation would have been ideal, the amenities available to us were not as advertised. The TV wasn’t brought to our room until nearly 10 hours after checking in. Don't stay here. Dirty, smelled like animal pee, place is very dirty if carpet was clean could improve smell. Staff was very accommodating.

Hotel had a weird smell Staff especially first desk at night time was very rude asked for extra pillows and was told there were no extra pillows it was hot muggy throughout the hotel but in room where you controlled your own temperature walk in

They cancelled my reservation.

I wouldn’t know any of these answers because my reservation was cancelled without my knowledge and I was not the only person turned away at 1 in the morning because there had been cancellations. This is completely unprofessional especially when I paid upfront for my room

The only real issue was we asked to fix the water pressure in the bathroom 3 times and they never did. Always said they would but didnt

Tv didn’t work and a/c was leaking but the AGM was excellent and the GM, even though I saw her briefly… seemed pleasant as well

We didn't stay, the hallway carpet was so dirty it was black, the rooms were aslo dirty and one rooms smelled like weed. Very disappointed, the lady at the hotel, said she would refund my stay 100%, I haven't heard from her yet, but will check when I get home on Wednesday.

The location It was very dirty from the lobby to the elevator with old coffee spills in it. The room was infested with roaches.

Never ever go to this place this is something like slum and so dirty and smelly
