The front desk said there was no manager available to help, and we were left trying to figure out what to do late at night with our family. Fortunately, Expedia stepped in and relocated us to another hotel. We returned the room key without staying overnight, but I was still charged and had to spend additional time trying to resolve the refund. The entire experience was stressful and frustrating. I hope the hotel improves its reservation management and customer service so future guests don’t have to go through the same situation.

Parking is free in an open parking lot and YOU are responsible for your own car’s safety and security. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and happy, which was a very nice surprise. I only stayed 1 night so I can say the room was very clean, bathroom was nice and clean there’s a microwave and fridge but the fridge didn’t have any power maybe a fuse needs to be checked but the large TV and microwave worked fine, shower runs great and is well renovated and the room looks just as pictured. Breakfast starts at 6 am and you can make your own waffles and pancakes but on the morning I checked out another guest started a fire or smoked out the dining room so I wasn’t able to see what was on the menu or what fruit or muffins they had. Another great thing about being here is that they DO NOT HAVE ANY ROACHES!! Red Roof Inn has big a— roaches! So I would definitely stay here again if need to.

The person who checked us in was very sullen and difficult to communicate with, as she barely spoke or acknowledged me. The vinyl flooring in the room felt unusual, but I suppose it's cleaner than carpet. The mattress was comfortable and the room felt clean. The bathroom was very good. The only bed pillows were small, square ones - again, unusual. The bed "skirt" was a loosely attached metal thing that made noise when I sat down or moved around. As I headed to the breakfast around 6:00 AM, two staff members were just leaving after setting it up. I was surprised how they talked and laughed loudly in the hallway right outside of other guest rooms; too bad for anyone still trying to sleep. The breakfast was nicer than expected for the price, with a hot waffle maker. The coffee seemed pretty watered down.

It was in a great location, clean, friendly staff, and I felt safe.

The room was clean way better than a few years ago

Breakfast is continental yet, they have some choices...you can even make waffles. Now the only thing is if you want your room cleaned, you have to let front desk know or they will not come. Other than that, it's a good place to stay.

It's about what you'd expect for a less than $100/ night. If money is tight I may consider staying here again. It felt safe and had restaurants close.

At breakfast i went down for coffee. There were no coffee cups and when i asked for one i was told they were out of them! I was told to use a juice cup which is about a 3 oz cup! A couple tables were unclean and the atmosphere was uninviting. No curtains or shades to cover the dirty windows. Will not stay there when i go to the Richmond area again.

Nothing The staff were treating us like we were crap. There wasn’t a shower curtain when I called the front desk they they sent it up but told me to hang it up. There was the phone that wouldn’t stop flashing I had to put something over it to not keep us awake. There were people running up and down the hall most of the night. There was supposed to be breakfast but couldn’t find it and no one was at the desk even when it rang the bell. At this point I will never stay at a hotel 8 again.

Mattress was horrible needs new one ..noisy room low water pressure also no room service. Would not recommend this place!

The owner was super nice and very accommodating. The breakfast was very good. It was more than fruit and a cereal bar. There was always a group of people of Arabic/Indian ethnicity hanging around the gambling machines and in the lobby. It was somewhat unnerving. This is our second stay here and it was the same both times.

Whole hotel smells like smoke. Nasty carpet everywhere. Not recommended
