Breakfast was great

The only thing that was clean were the sheets. Looks like they just took over the building last week and only replaced the sheets and pillows. All the common places and dingy and need repairs and upgrades. Hallways smell of mildew. So do the shower curtains.

Clean the room before putting anyone in the rooms for the night.

The hotel felt very dirty, old and outdated. The room we booked (a suite) was double sold and so we had to get two rooms instead. In one of them there was a high pitched squeal every time you flushed the toilet. The hallways smelled bad. I booked this because I assumed the brand of Holiday Inn Express would have a certain standard but this felt like a roadside motel and I don’t understand how there isn’t more consistency with a franchise name like this. Very disappointing.

Great customer service

Bathroom was dirty. Towels were on the floor. One towel had a long nasty hair on it. TV didn’t work.

bed was very uncomfortable. spider webs in the corners and I had to kill a roach in my room. breakfast was mediocre. Pretty much the same every day.

The staff was friendly, but to be honest, we felt sorry for them. They were having to listen to lots of complaints that really had nothing to do with their desk job. There was an EV charging station that we were told was super easy to hook up to. It was programed incorrectly and only one of the chargers worked. I asked for help and was sent 10 minutes down to the road to a gas station that did NOT have an EV charger. One of the days we were there the water was turned off for several hours, which caused a problem getting ready for dinner. They have a great coffee maker, but it needs to be cleaned every day and was never cleaned on time. On our last day breakfast was supposed to be ready at 6:00 and at 7:15 someone finally showed up to start working on cleaning the coffee machine. Luckily, there was a Dunkin across the street. We got the feeling that this hotel is on its last leg and they are just slowly letting it "go". The gal in charge of the breakfast area was great!

Hotel is well maintained. The beds are very comfortable and the linens were bright white and soft ..they also had 4 pillows per bed which is great some hotels never give enough .The 1 bedroom suite was huge . Staff was very nice . They had lots of snack options to buy downstairs .Pool was very clean .

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The reviews on this place were pretty good but the hotel did not live up to what others experienced.How anyone has rated this place as excellent is beyond me. I walked in to checkin and waited 15 minutes before anyone showed up at the front desk. I was able to get in an hour so that was one nice thing. We get up to the 3rd floor where our room was and upon stepping off the elevator (which was so noisy—think a cat dragging its nails down a chalkboard) were met with a HOT hallway. Mind you we stayed there in July and it was 100° outside. It was probably at least 80° in that hallway. We get to the room and thankfully it was very cold and the ac worked well. Had 4 people in a room with 2 king beds—but when we all got back later in the evening after sitting outside at a soccer tournament and all wanted to take showers, I noticed there were only 3 body towels. I go down to ask for another and was told they were out and was offered a hand towel and some washcloths. Unbelievable. The walls were stained and dirty and there is construction going on on the 3rd floor. The only ice machine in the entire building had no ice. Dining room area was gross. Boxes with new bathtubs were in that area as well. Parts of the drop ceiling on the 1st floor were open showing all the wiring. All in all, this hotel shouldn’t be open during construction and it needs more staff. Sink in bathroom was clogged. Told front desk, no one came. Couldn’t wait to leave

The front staff was nice. The breakfast was good. Upon arriving I noticed the building was very old which isn't a problem. As soon as I walked in I could smell the dust and mold. The front staff was kind. I went to the room. A old building I don't mind, but as soon as I walked in I could tell the rooms was never cleaned. There was old food on the floor, items from past customers under the bed, a squirt of old conditioner on the bathroom tub walls, I pulled back the sheet there was crumbs and hair showing the sheets wasn't washed at all the bed was just made. I was disgusted. Rat feces was under the dusty dirt air-conditioner. A old building is FINE. A dirty building can't be tolerated. They are currently under reconstruction.. but fixing the building won't help unless they get new staff in to actually clean and care about their house keeping job.

The rooms we booked were disgusting. They were moist, mold on the walls, and the bathroom was visibly dirty- hair all over the floor and dirt built up all over the floor as well. I know they’re renovating, but the cleanliness was sub-par. Staff was very nice and the breakfast was very good, lots of options for all appetites.

Good stay, site needs a serious update. Looks like a motel 6. Roaches in room. Won’t book again
