Holiday Inn Express Richmond - Midlothian Turnpike by IHG

Our handicap room was actually a suite w/ 2 connected bedrooms on the 1st floor. One bedroom had a walk/roll in shower which was very helpful. The property showed some age, but was very clean. Comfortable beds and plenty of space for maneuvering. Breakfast was fresh, hot and excellent choices. We would stay there again!

All good . A/C went out in my house, 5 miles away. Wanted to treat my grandsons to a pool and good air conditioning. Not perfect but ee enjoyed our stay.

Not great

Room was dirty , broken furniture, dirty shower, ceilings looked like had dirt or mold, stains on carpet, lamp shades broken , curtains had holes in them. Would not recommend. Outside had construction materials everywhere, garbages over flowing. Staff was courteous and friendly. Unable to change room, told hotel was full.

Will not stay here again

Dirty rooms, hole in wall, ceiling cracks everywhere, sheets cleanliness questionable, dirty common areas, and breakfast foods were cold and food was not replenished enough to meet customer needs/arrival.

The suite rooms were huge.

We never had cleaning service in 7 nights' stay. No clean towels available over the first ones we received. Construction on my floor without any warning.

The staff was great and so was the location for what we needed. The facility needs some overall work to the rooms.

It was disappointing to find out the pool was closed during our very hot stay /soccer tournament but other than that , it had everything we needed .

The morning we checked out. The hotel reflects how this hotel is being managed, very poor in all aspects!

Gym being renovated was not told this until check-in.. Tub and sink in room backed up had to get a plunger and unclog the sink and bathtub.. Poor ventilation after taking shower room hot and sweaty AC half worked.. Check in was good. Only one working elevator that took for ever to close or be called.

The room was not clean my towels were dirty

Staff was friendly, and the outside of the hotel was well-maintained. But the inside and the rooms are all very dated at this point. Everything looks like it's the original TV, furniture, fixtures, etc. The mattresses were very lumpy and lopsided. Was clean enough, but everything just feels old. Again, the staff was good, the breakfast was also just fine.

Ver good breakfast with excellent. But slow, coffee machine.
