Hampton Inn Ridgefield Park

Checking in was easy and the woman at the front desk was kind and helpful. The hotel room and bathroom was clean. Breakfast was tasty and love the all night tea and coffee and water. Place is highly recommended as they did a fantastic job

Front desk was awesome very friendly.

The room was good size and clean. Stayed for one night breakfast was nice convenient and plentiful. Waffles, eggs, ham, muffin , bagels, juice pastry. I had to use front desk scissors with no issues. Close to American Dream Mall 5 min and Met life was five minutes away. Close to New York City too. Would come back rooms were nice and cold from air

The only issues I had at this location was the fact I could not control the ac temperature. it was warm and muggy inside the room the whole time because it’s a set temperature you cannot change, I have asthma and night time was awful for my breathing as it was 89 and humid at night and the inside of the room was stuffy and warm at 71, the room simply does not cool down at the temperature set and staff has no access to change it neither. The other was entering the parking lot, you have to enter from a highway, very dangerous but manageable.

The hotel buffet style breakfast was delicious, clean environment, coffee on the hallway, free parking and easy access to NY City- fabulous & adventurous. I’ll return to the hotel again in future with my wife and my one son.

The breakfast was delicious. Perfect for people who are picky eaters. Had a great variety.

Getting onto the property was seriously dangerous. Only one entrance and you had to pull over into the median to make the right turn. You had to cross the off ramp of another highway. Cars were literally flying past with trucks honking at me. I spoke with the staff and they said that was the only way in. Extremely unsafe (and illegal), it’s not a turning lane.

Room was very clean I believe need more security.

No hot water for the shower.

2) the hotel location does not have any public transport access, it makes to-from very difficult and expensive.

My second time at this location. Room was clean and the pool was great. Breakfast buffet always a plus.
