The room was ok except for the bathtub that was rusting. Also, the carpet in the hallway was all stained from water damage.

I paid for just one night. When I arrived, the staff didn't explain anything to me. We just went to the room and my boyfriend took a shower; the bathroom door was slightly ajar, and after he finished showering, the fire alarm went off. The front desk clerk came, knocked, and barged in as soon as the door opened. My boyfriend was half-dressed, and the only thing the receptionist cared about was that we didn’t set off the alarm. We had to wait for the fire department to arrive and deactivate it at 2 a.m. It was very annoying. The next day, we thought we were going to have breakfast, but when we checked out, the guy just pointed to a small sign with the hours posted very high up on the wall—one that’s easily overlooked unless someone points it out to you. By then, we were already past the cutoff time for breakfast. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Days Inn

Had to book last minute due to flight cancellation. Hotel 27 miles from JFK. It was night before World Cup Final, hence exhorbitent rate for a dump of a hotel and $170 cab ride. Air conditioner not working - 80 degree heat and high humidity. Overall, not a good night.

The reception area also doubles as the breakfast room, which has only about six chairs. If there are just a few people eating, it's almost impossible to reach the food. The breakfast itself was very poor—only bagels, bread, cream cheese, and cereal. The biggest disappointment was the price. It wasn't cheap at all, so I expected much better accommodations and service. Unfortunately, this hotel did not provide good value for the money. I would not stay here again or recommend it.

It’s not often I leave a bad review but this place was so run down I wouldn’t walk barefoot on the carpeting. Bathtub was dirty and cracked. I don’t know how this place got a “good” rating.

Would not recommend at all!!!
-
Scruffy hotel, air conditioning didn't work. Only reason I booked it was due to a flight cancellation on the night before the World Cup final to be played in NYC. Seriously overpriced, but didn't have a lot of choice. $170 cab ride from JFK
