Proximity to NYC Our toilet clogged on the first night at the hotel. There was only ne staff person working overnight, so my husband had to plunging toilet himself.

It's a good environment for what I was looking for. If I have to do it again I'll without any hesitation.

Toilet was not working. Maintenance came once but it was never fixed properly. Toilet was running all day and night. Sometimes wouldn’t flush

After booking a room following a poor AirBnb experience, I was pleased to find a clean room with amenities and staff who was eager to help me check-in despite it being midnight. The room was very comfortable and quiet, with the A/C being notably cold in all the best ways. Most notably of my whole experience, after accidentally injuring myself during my trip, the staff member at the front desk went above and beyond to assist me. During my 2-day stay housekeeping never stopped by my room. During my initial check-in, I had just enough conditioner for my first shower, but following that the conditioner bottle was never refilled. In addition, the trash was never taken out, so it began to overflow rather quickly. I noticed a small burn mark in the floor on initial check-in, however this isn’t a particularly big deal, so long as I’m not penalized.

I liked that after check in you are left alone. Hotel did not have a room ready at check in time. I was not aware of the $50 refundable fee when checking in and the front desk worker did not explain it well. Price of the stay was expensive, probably raised for the major event which is unfair.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very very clean. The gentlemen at the front desk were very helpful and over the top friendly. We got into town early and they let us check in early. They did everything they could to make our stay the best possible. Shout out to Dante for being extra friendly and going out of your way to make our stay special. I can’t say enough about how clean this local is. Always someone doing some cleaning. It always smelled very clean as well. Over all we really enjoyed everything about our stay !!

On check out day, 2 days later, I flipped over one of the pillows and it had a large brownish color stain on it. Not a big issue as I wasn't using that pillow, but still!!!! The elevator seemed to halfway work, and only one was actually working. The other was out of order. I had to push the button several times for it to light up and send the elevator to my floor. Same experience on each floor. Though I pointed these things out, the stay wasn't bad at all. Unfortunately, these are things you should expect at this price point. Lastly, like in most hotels, the AC is terrible, especially at night while sleeping. Again, the staff was excellent!! The room was spacious and clean. I'm sure the hair, also a ball of hair on the carpet, was just an oversight. Can't overlook the pillow though. That's not good by any means!! If you're just passing through and need an inexpensive place to rest your head, that's close to NY, and/or the HWY, this is a great choice. I would stay here again.
