Hyatt Place Jackson/ Ridgeland

The rug by the couch had not been vacuum or it was half done. Hair was still on floor in bathroom, it was noticeable. The sink had dried paint around the bowl. The tub touch and bathroom was not done neatly or the right way. It needs to be redone.

Bathroom vanity light was not working. Appeared to be mold on ceiling above vanity mirror.

The hotel was in an excellent location and staff were friendly and professional.

I really liked the complimentary breakfast and the whole spread they offered! Everything I ate was delicious. However, our room was dirty in some areas (like a stain on the sheets, hair on the bathroom floor exc.) and when I asked for new sheets at the front desk, I was handed a set and expected to make the bed myself instead of requiring housekeeping services to remake the bed. I thought this was unprofessional and odd, if I am paying to be a guest at a hotel then certain services should be provided.

Additionally, we found the on-site complimentary breakfast helpful and very filling. It made our trip much easier logistically because we were traveling with children. I found that the rooms were accessible and compliant and anyone with a physical limitation would be comfortably accommodated. The only disappointment was that our bathroom was not as clean as we hoped but we were able to make adjustments. I’d still recommend this property to a friend. It’s walking distance to a fabulous shopping center, minutes from a Costco (driving), and overall a very relaxing suburb of Jackson. I would stay again!

Staff was great. Property is a bit run down. Our room was not thoroughly clean. It's a fine value.

Staff was great, common areas were nice. Rooms were tired.

The continental breakfast was poorly stocked, and there were hardly any guests eating at the time I was there. They were out of cups, bowls for the oatmeal, out of milk and bacon/sausage. Also the eggs were not even warm. We had to wait forever for someone to come out and stock everything, and when the breakfast stocker did come out she just complained when we mentioned to to her like we were bothering her. I stay in a lot of Hyatt Places and this was one of the worst for continental breakfast we have ever had.

The room was very spacious. The indoor pool was large and well kept. Breakfast is enjoyable.

Great stay. No microwave in the room and my bathroom had a stench but all in all it was nice.

My only complaint is there is no microwave in your room so everytime you have to warm food you have to go downstairs to the breakfast area and there are no meat options other than pork.

I was assigned a room that someone was already staying in. once reassigned a new room the iron did not work in that room. The staff was prompt in correcting the inconvenience and for that I am appreciative but I will not be returning to this property.
