Restaurant for breakfast disappointment

Lynn was welcoming and helpful. She shared so much with us about the history if this beautiful (very) historic Inn, and also about the local history, as well as what’s going on right now. I highly recommend!
-
Very well prepared. Maybe not having a coffee maker in the room. Also a tv would have been ok.

No tv in the room

Beautiful historic home in a convenient location. Lynn was a great host. Jackie prepared a wonderful breakfast. Bring your own toiletries.

Staff were wonderful! Lynn & Jeff, thank you! Unfortunately, it wasn’t as clean as I expected it to be. It was dusty.

A TV in the room would be nice

Lovely stay in a charming historic neighborhood. The room was clean and quiet, the owners friendly, and check-in smooth. Perfect base for exploring the city.
-
We had two bedrooms with queen beds. One bed was very uncomfortable and the other bed made us itch all night long.
-
Air conditioner was loud, but necessary

Lynn & Jack are your gracious hosts each fascinating in their own right. Lynn would bring down the house with her award winning stories of true life experiences, you would be enthralled for hours if desired. Both hosts had this unique quality of assisting and letting you know that help was readily available at the King George. The Inn is incredible! We didn't want to leave.

Location was great. Proprietors friendly. House was authentically historical with antique furniture. King George room was spacious. Bed comfortable. Breakfast adequate. We were in the King George room. Bathroom was not adequately cleaned. Floor, bathroom tile, and toilet was dirty with “accumulated” dirt and dust. Medicine cabinet was old, rusty and too dirty to use. Understood it’s an old house, but a good, thorough cleaning would have made it more acceptable and hygienic. Maintenance of room ignored. Needed light bulbs in closet and vanity table lamp. Most B&B’s, of this price, provide at least a water and coffee reception area for guests. Nothing but bathroom tap water available.

Room was comfortable

Historic and beautiful building with local art Shower wasn’t quite working - but owners were prompt in coming to help fix the issue. The room only had one set of towels -so had to request 2nd set.

The Inn is well located and very attractive as a historical B&B. There was a fabulous bakery & bistro within walking distance - Evie's. Highly recommend going there. The food was very good and the cakes & desserts were FABULOUS! The Inn could use a little extra cleaning. Lots of cobwebs on the blinds and windows. The caulk around the bathtub could use replacing.

The King George provided a perfect overnight stay. The house is beautiful, and Lynn and Jack were excellent hosts. Our room was large, and well appointed. Jack's breakfast provided an excellent start to our journey. You won't go wrong.
-
The owners were excellent hosts No tv in room
-
The location was nice and easy to find. Room were nice sized Lynn and Jack were pleasant hosts The bed mattress was a bit worn. The inn and our room struggled to cool down (in light of high daytime temperatures)

The breakfast was excellent. No hair dryer available.
