Comfort Inn & Suites West - Medical Center

This property is going downhill. This was my 3rd visit and they are cheaping out on small items, like napkins and paper plates. They think those things save money but guests notice.

Call the property to see if the pool is operational before booking and before leaving your house. We booked this hotel because of the meeting room and the pool. The meeting room was double booked, and the pool and hot tub were closed for remodeling.The room itself was okay. We had a large group of family meeting at this location for a graduation party. At check-in, I asked if we could be put in a room near my sister and was told no because they didn’t have two adjacent rooms that were clean. It was 8 PM at night, why do you still have unclean rooms that late in the day. We noticed the alcove by the elevator had a very full garbage with another full garbage bag sitting next to it and there was a dirty mop bucket in the lobby. We didn’t check out till Sunday, and that full garbage was still there, and that dirty mop bucket was still there. Now onto breakfast. I was told that check-in that breakfast would be served until 930, the sign in the elevator that said it was served until 10 on the weekends. When we went down at nine, they had already stopped serving breakfast. The self serve water pitcher was empty for our entire stay and the decaf coffee and juice dispenser were out of order. The front of the property was full of weeds. None of these issues in and of themselves are a deal breaker, but all of it together just made for an unpleasant stay. I would not choose this property again

We were there on a hot/ humid day. The room was not only clean, but nice and cool when we arrived and remained that way all night.

It was clean breakfast was OK.

I loved the shuttle. There were great restaurants nearby. The pool is broken, but I suppose that can’t be helped.

Room was nice and clean, building was nice inside overall not to bad of place at hotel, beds were comfy The key cards did not work half the time had to go down every day to get my key cards redone. Several people had this problem should really update the key system,

As visitors at Mayo we were unsure where to stay. This hotel is clean, staff is nice, beds are so comfortable, pillows are standard size, bathrooms are good size. Rates are good. It is a 15 minute drive to the Gonda Building. You have room to move and breathe in this room. Parking is convenient and air conditioning works well.

Clean rooms , ac was cold but parking was small.

I enjoyed the location the friendly staff. Vert customer focused and answered questions willingly. Because of my son being released for Mayo Clinic. We had to cancel our second night's stay. With Booking.com it is a very difficult process. to this day, I don't know if they refunded my credit card. No one can be reached at Booking.com. It is the most complexed system for communication.

Great hotel. We stay here often.

The room was large, bathroom was very large, the bed was comfortable. The room was listed as a suite. While there were two beds and a sitting area (pull-out sofa), it was still all in one room, with only a decorative half wall to split the space. We booked the room thinking there would be separate spaces (to be able to read or have a light on without bothering the other person), this wasn't the case.

The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The property overall is not well maintained. The pool is out of service and ice machines and vending machines are missing or inoperable. The landscaping is full of weeds. I don’t know what the breakfast substance was but it was not eggs.

The value was spot on and the facilities were clean and comfortable. N/A

Rooms are basic and somewhat old. Breakfast not great. Pool and spa were closed. Room seemed clean

Tv lost signal Business required I’d and credit card in person when my boss booked room online

The location was easy to find. When I booked the room there were pictures of a pool and it was listed there was a pool. When we got there the pool was broken. We were not informed prior to arrival or given the option to cancel/rebook.

Large comfortable room in a great location near Costco. I would definitely stay there again.

Easy to find. Very clean. Worst part was curtains did not close so light shine in all night from the parking lot

I got locked out my room, I don't know how many times, because of the broken locks on the door. It was just ridiculous having to go to the lobby several times a day to get back into my room.
