Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Rockford

Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was outstanding including the breakfast staff. Definitely staying again.

Staff was friendly, the room and the bathroom were clean. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was 8 out of 10 and I did not use the exerciser pool facility

Clean

The room was very small but okay for two people who were using it to sleep and bathe only. I didn't find the bed comfortable but my partner did. The AC seemed to have a maximum so we were never able to get the room comfortable enough for me. The towels in the room were very limited so we had to request more every day. The doors to exit near our room weren't working so you could exit but your card wouldn't allow you entry to come back in. Breakfast was terrible. Not a single healthy option worth eating. After first morning we ate every morning after at local restaurants for breakfast. Brittany at the desk was extremely helpful before our stay and at check-in.

Very clean and well maintained. Housekeeping didn’t show up after my third night, even though there was no sign on my door, so I had to scramble for towels. Tiny little crawling bugs (not bed bugs) were a little bit of an issue, but they mostly just came out if food was around.

We had only one short night to stay after driving all day we were able to soak in the hottub, which was wonderful! The breakfast was excellent! Would definitely stay again.

The staff was very nice. It was raining and he apologized for not bringing out umbrella. Always greeted us when we entered or left. Very comfortable bed!

Was nice and clean. The only downside was the hot tub finish was very abrasive. But you could avoid touching it.

Great location, super clean, all working amenities, great breakfast; and it all started with Brittany at the front desk!

The free breakfast was delicious. The egg frittata and mini waffles were especially good. The king bed was super cozy; I fell asleep almost as soon as my head hit the pillow. The hotel is about 20 minutes from downtown Rockford, but it’s a quick and easy drive. It’s also located near a lot of restaurants, which made grabbing food really convenient. I was there for the Rockford Ironman 70.3, and it worked out great. The hotel opened breakfast earlier for the athletes, which was really appreciated. It was also very quiet, making it easy to get a good night’s rest before race day. The route to the parking garage for the race was straightforward as well, which made race morning much less stressful. I’m a bit of a clean freak, so I tend to notice things others might not. The carpet felt a little sticky in some areas, and I noticed a few stains on the carpet as well as some marks on the walls. Other than that, I had a very comfortable stay.

Just nothing to complain. The room was clean and facilities were well maintained. I spent 2 nights and I left early morning for both days. So I could not try breakfast. But the coffee was tasty even in early morning.

It was outdated. TV was old and little. Furniture worn.

Superb

The staff was kind and helpful. The room was fairly clean. The location was what we needed. The tvs didn't work well in the room. There were two, one of them worked pretty well the first day but the second day it did not work with netflix. The other tv showed the picture but there was no sound at all. the breakfast was not great. Also the shower/bathtub drain was very slow.

Our carpet in the room was not vacuumed well. Cereal on floor around bed. No housekeeping on Sunday. We had to go get our own clean towels. I would not recommend this hotel.
