Candlewood Suites Rocky Mount by IHG

Great pricing when I was there. Very clean, had everything we needed and extra because we booked a suite for only $130 with a king bed. Dove soaps in shower. Late check in available! They even had a loaner pantry stocked with things to borrow like game systems pool toys etc. definitely would stay there again!

The staff was nice. They were helpful. They were also very professional. The bath tub was unacceptable. It had hair in it and other debris from the prior customer. I had to clean the room myself.

The room was very nice, however it had fleas or something in the room...was not able to stay. Had to check out before midnight due to itching...

Property has been redone,but painting the bathtub doesn't do it. Needs a bit of attention to detail.

This property is showing its age but the staff are doing a great job of keeping it clean and functioning. Every staff member went over and beyond to make it feel like “coming home”. The two front people, Connie and David were exceptional. We met the manager in the morning and she was wonderful as well. Would highly recommend this property based on staff alone but the cleanliness of everything made it perfect. The king bed was very comfortable and water pressure in shower was great.

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Nice area. Easy in and out. Lobby was extremely warm and muggy when entering and leaving. I feel bad for the workers in that area.

I like the room setup ! That was the best part of the stay. Staff don’t knock at the door. They just come in on you. A staff member argued with my niece about some children. That was not hers’. My niece saved a two year old from drowning in their pool. Then they want to be apologetic. Damage already done. I’m thankful my niece was there to save a baby life. Shout out to Ny’Mignon Avery !

Everyone was so friendly it felt very personable. Everyone was attentive. The only thing that I didn’t like was there is no type of free breakfast, but I also understand the rate of the room is cheaper than those that offer free breakfast although I would have been content with just some cereal or milk or banana

Although an older facility, it was neat and clean. I was disappointed that the treadmill and bike were not in working order, as I had planned on using them after a long trip. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed my overnight stay.

The place was absolutely disgusting upon walking in my wife and I are skin started to itch and when we got to the room, our son’s cheeks turned immediately red avoid this place less desperate for a stay

The coffee could be better. Could have more lights for safety.

I like that there was space, cleanliness as expected. They also allow pets. The stay was fine, but I was surprised that at this Extended Stay hotel you must turn in your used towels to get clean ones. For the price of a two-night stay, I expected daily towel replacement.”
