Holiday Inn Express Rocky Mount Sports Center by IHG

We stopped for an overnight on our way home from vacation and were very pleased with the friendly staff the room was clean and comfortable. Biggest drawback was the sliding Barn door to the bathroom. It was quite heavy and difficult to open at times. But overall a very good stay at a good price!

Towels has raggedy ends. Overnight customer service was horrible!

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good.

The check in was smooth, the room was clean and available as soon as I got to the property. Only issue was having to pay separately for snacks or other items after an incidental hold was placed on my credit card.

Not dirty, but not shining or smelling clean. Cleaning products left in hall way! Sticky furniture

This Holiday Inn Express was absolutely fantastic, from the very clean and quiet room, to the outstanding breakfast and very helpful staff, we couldn't ask for more. This has been one of the best stays we've had in a long time. We will definately stop here again on our next journey south.

Breakfast was exceptional. Please ask the attendant to lower her tone when suggestions are made. She was very loud when addressing customers. It took a long time to check in- a very slow process for registered guests.

It was close to 95, had choice of a few restaurants in the areas, rooms and bed were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good and easy check-in.

Clean and comfortable. Nothing to dislike

Nice hotel for the price. No issues. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Close to highway & restaurants Uncomfortable lobby furniture / breakfast did not have a lot of healthy choices.

Great selection

The property had a good fresh smell. The rooms were cleaned good. However, the AC in my room made a constant loud hum... Therefore, I called the front desk to report it and instead of the clerk acknowledging my concerns, she immediately began telling me all of the rooms made that noise. I attempted to assure her that I knew that statement to be false. She then said to me she doesn't know what I want her to do about it because she knows all the ac's make noise and she doesn't know what else to tell me. At that point I told her I didnt believe all the other rooms had ac's operating like that. She then said let me come to your room and see. I kindly said please do. She came and then said let me see what I can do. The clerk ended up calling my room to tall me she changed my room and to come down to get a new key. Her response was so disappointing and unprofessional. If I could've gone elsewhere and got my money back I would have. But besides that interaction the property is decent. 😏

Like that there are multiple resteraunts within walking distance

Very clean and friendly the breakfast was dry in texture

Road noise from nearby road was very loud

Very nice staff and clean rooms

Clean, consistent, modern! Price is great! THANKS!

All met or surpassed expectations.

I didn't like the breakfast. Maybe scrambled eggs wouldhave been a better choice. The room was clean but it had a stale smell. Last thing was the towels,They were extremely hard.
