Courtyard by Marriott Rocky Mount

The lady at the front desk was super friendly and cordial. The room was so big and the bed super comfortable. Would stay here again!

The staff were very nice and friendly. The room was very clean.

Our stay was overall satisfactory. I think complimentary coffee would have been great (not what's in the rooms) Unfortunately, it was for sale. We had friends stay at the Tru hotel just next door to the Courtyard Marriott, so we joined them for a cup of their complimentary coffee, which was very good.

The staff were amazing. I didn’t like the fact that they didn’t have self serve coffee, but maybe that was my fault for not reading more into it. I didn’t try the bistro or any breakfast so I can’t speak on that but overall, I had a decent stay.

They may tell you that you get the "incidental fees on the day you checkout", but expect to have to wait.

Checking in on Saturday afternoon was a breeze with the help of Sheena.

Pool was closed. Breakfast was NOT complimentary. There are four or five other hotels in the same area that DO offer free breakfast. Any of them would be comparable to this property. Room was nice. Housekeeping was not provided daily.

The hotel appeared older, but it was very clean. The sofa in the room was probably older too, but it was much more comfortable than the sofas I’ve had at newer Marriots. The staff was excellent, extremely friendly and helpful.

I was under the impression that breakfast was included and informed at the hotel that it was not. Not sure what happened. Was silent on my confirmation

The staff was exceptional!

I was on the 3 rd floor I think the halls and my room could have used a carpet cleaning. No stains just looked rough.

Hotel is pretty dated and overpriced in comparison to the surrounding hotels. Breakfast is not included and also overpriced. We don’t were taken a back by how unaccompanied the staff was, specifically was not able to get an extra blanket and gave us a hard time to get towels for the pool.

Everything was super, amenities were great

front desk charged an additional $100 fee without notifying us for a pet fee, even though it was a service animal. Upon requesting a removal of the fee they said they needed management approval but did not return calls to apprise us - as they said they would do.

Maintained poorly

This hotel is not kept up. It looks old. The beds in room looked small (smaller than full size). And breakfast was NOT included. The advertise breakfast available or served but you have to pay for coffee and food. Many hotels of this caliber offer breakfast. Would not recommend nor stay there again.

The room was clean and the amenities were great
