Residence Inn by Marriott Rocky Mount

The elevator was not working for the two days i was there you had to carry your luggage to your room up the stairs with out any help

Pool was closed. We were sent to the sister pool in the Marriott next door. Also closed for repairs. Very disappointed.

The shower apparatus was broken the toilet handle flushed when it wanted to… the room was a flashback to the ugly decor of the late 70’s ..the carpet was very frayed at the seams and the bed must have been the original mattress …lumpy and uncomfortable and we sank into a home in the middle of the bed…in my opinion Expedia should not recommend thus hotel…I can’t believe Marriott would lend its name to that dump

The Mariott should be embarrassed. We stayed 2 weeks with two little kids, and the pool was unavailable and the only elevator was broken the entire time. Seemingly no sense of urgency to get these items corrected for their guests.

Needs to be cleaned and updated

This hotel has gone down hill, used to be pretty good, but is starting to show a lot of wear and tear. Stained carpets, amenities that just don't work and a lack on the staffs part to assist the guests

Love the area and love the staff but the place needs work. Tooooo many stains on the furniture and the carpet, I was scared to walk barefoot. Was disappointed in the pool not working, although we were offered to use the amenities across the from us in another facility. The staff was amazing, very helpful and kind. I just ask that the company take time out to renovate so we are not disappointed in the end. Happy I was able to be in the same hotel with family and the breakfast area was a plus including the person working in the area, she was a gem. Should've wrote down her name because my brain is shot but I do remember her kindness in making sure we were ok!

Breakfast was good. That was about the only thing. We stayed from Saturday till Monday. The elevator was out of order when we checked in we had to carry our luggage through a maze of hallways on the first floor, up the stairs to the third floor and down two more long hallways and it remained out of order the rest of the stay. Then went to use the pool and it was closed for repairs, and just found out the other reviews the pool was closed for repairs a couple weeks ago so I’m not sure if it ever opened back up. Yes we were only there two nights but no ever came to empty the one little trash can in the whole suite or brought any new towels and washcloths. Last thing, which I haven’t got to look into yet is a $40 charge on my credit card by the hotel

Nice room for relaxing and for couples .

I have no complaints. I enjoy staying at Residence Inn locations when I am traveling.

Outdated, dirty rooms,

The room was set up nicely to fix a meal and for comfort in sleeping. Things were a little dated, however the room was clean.

Staff was nice and helpful. Beds lumpy and pillows flat. Dogs were barking!

Location, restaurant options nearby, spacious room Requires upgrading: bathroom, bedding, curtains ripped, floors appear worn

Booked here because it said it was “pet friendly” but apparently only for dogs, not cats and it doesn’t specify that online. The gentleman at the desk called his manager and they did make an exception for the night which we were really grateful for!

The staff was amazing. Front Desk lady Name was Chanel if im not mistaken. She was excellent and very polite and informative of surrounding things to do. All of the staff was amazing The basketball court was down and the pool was closed

Room upkeep unsatisfactory. Dirty AC return and filter, patches on walls and in shower. Disappointing for a Marriott brand.

This property has an excellent location and our dog likes this place. Nice amenities for travelers.

The location The room was dirty and got a different room a little cleaner tub was stopped up they took care of that .

The room smelled like mold and Clorox, the toilet was running all night. The microwave had a terrible smell in it.
