Residence Inn by Marriott Rocky Mount

The room was quite big, but noticed that the sinks were awfully low. It is an older building and some of the grout was missing in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and would definitely stay there again.

Everything was good. Planning to stay again.

The bathroom tub was discussing Filthy with stains like someone had thrown up in tub Told front desk and only thing they said was they would make a note of it Never again.

This place is in major need of some updating and some maintenance. Our room had peeled back carpet with nails sticking out and a paper towel stuffed in a hole in a wall. There is a lot of potential if many updates and repairs are made. The woman who checked us in was very polite and helpful.

I was surprised that we had problems with our toilet flushing. We stayed 5-6 nights and we had to plung the toilet ourselves on the first night. The dirty plunger sat out front of our door in a bag x 2 days. Then we called for maintenance to come snake it and they came but the toilet was still very slow flushing. The crew was pleasant, but not effective. Breakfast was plentiful but the meat did not appear to be done. Very raw looking so I did not eat the breakfast. They take the food up PROMPTLY at 0930 am. People were arriving to eat, and the staff member walked the leftovers right in the kitchen. The child had to eat cereal. I understand the time was spent, but she could have started taking other items that were not wanted first. Especially when the food is going to be trashed anyway. The room was clean & bed comfortable. I didn't use the pool or gym. I needed to complete some work in the business space (forgot my laptop charger) but the computer didn't work either. I was so dissatisfied.

The breakfast area was nice and the breakfast decent The rooms , hallways and elevator are very dingy and old . The bathroom ceiling was peeling, closet sliding doors were off track, appliances were dented, a very large garbage bag was left by elevator for two days: would not go back again

The place can use a renovation and maintenance.

The breakfast and dining area is excellent. Shower curtain too short. Linens looked dirty. Door was dirty. Hallway smell?

Well maintained. I’m 70 and enjoyed the pool. Staff was accommodating. Breakfast attended was friendly and accommodating. Good breakfast

I loved this hotel it had everything i wanted and needed and i had a blast

The staff is amazing! Breakfast is very good! The building and rooms are clean! The pool is awesome!

Water pressure was low... The beeping noise coming from one of the appliances..

The elevator was down. They said they ordered the parts but the stairs were in a far corner basically on the other side of the hotel.

didn't get my room cleaned for the two days i was there and my kids could even go to pool had to keep calling for tissue and towels and nobody came

The elevator was not working for the two days i was there you had to carry your luggage to your room up the stairs with out any help
