When I visited, there was an enormous storm that knocked out the power to the building. The staff was incredibly helpful as well as being cool, calm, and collected. As a customer, you don’t often seem the team behind the hotel. They were great.

Every thing was good and clean

Parking is a too much

This place is extremely run down. The staff was all friendly and helpful, however, so that was nice. While it appears it would be easy to walk to the close entertainment, the access is extremely challenging in many ways. No true sidewalks, you have to try to cut through a parking garage, the signage is terrible. The parking lot surface is like a demolition site. There wasn't enough parking available for the hotel and people were making up their own spots which made it difficult to navigate. The breakfast was delicious - the buffet was well stocked and they continued to stock it even up to the closing time, which was nice. All in all, I got what I paid for as this was the least expensive hotel available. I booked because I thought Crown Plaza had a reputation as a higher end hotel brand. I was mistaken. I would not stay there again.

Nice big room, staff super friendly, Bar staff very helpful, only down side is the decor is dated but that didn’t have a bearing on the overall stay which was very impressive

Front desk help was top notch

Breakfast was well balanced. Oatmeal, fruits, yogurt, eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausages French bed, toast, peanut butter and jam with hot and cold beverage.

Website stated parking available online $10 per day but would allow me to book the parking. Arrived at hotel was told to use SpotHero to secure parking it was approx $25 per day - not available. Then I was told I could pay $35 per day to park at the hotels long term parking - parking was available! At best it was more than a little misleading.

Property had a power outage around 11pm. I was using a CPAP and had a 6am flight to catch (which there "free 25 hr airport shuttle" did not start running until 6 am) Went to lobby for status updates. Staff not helpful and seemed very annoyed with people asking. Did not offer anything to make the situation more comfortable or helpful.

Room was spacious and clean. Staff was overworked. No one greeted guests as they entered the hotel. Staff could have been friendlier and more proactive.
-
Hotel was located conveniently to airport. Quilts on bed could have been thicker. Bring your own blanket.
-

We had a wonderful experience at this establishment. Easy check-in and checkout, felt welcome, and easy to get ride shares at any time of the day. The rooms were clean and fit every need. Shout out to the comfortable beds in the room. We enjoyed visiting Miz at the bar when it was raining and the food was delicious. Plenty of things to do in the area and not too far from all great spots Chicago has to offer.
