DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport - Rosemont

I love that the room and bathroom was spacious; however, since since the bathroom has so much room, it needs towel hooks or rods, especially near shower.

Very close to both the airport and the Rosemont CTA station, perfect for a overnight after a late flight before heading into the city for a day. Clean and friendly, good value for price.

This hotel is not a good value. If coming for a conference in downtown, you have to pay $20 for parking every time in and out, $5 for a water, no breakfast, awful WiFi, and nothing interesting around. The girl said "well we're close to the airport" who cares.

Staff

The room was clean and spacious though could use a little upgrade but no complaints. There’s a little necessities store and a Starbucks on site. The food is good and a lovely steakhouse is onsite. The hotel is close to an outlet mall and public transport etc.

Booked a King size bed. Got up to our room and it was smaller than the standard King size everyone expects when booking that size. Asked the front desk staff and they insisted it was King size. Did some quick measuring and it is in fact a Queen size for every other person in the country and would have been a deciding factor on where I stayed had I known they were truly a Queen being touted as a King. Very disappointed with the bed size and was able to make do but there are plenty of people out there that require that size bed to sleep comfortably, and the foldout couch bed would still not have been sufficient to compensate for the smaller bed depending on their physical needs. Location was great and access to food was also fantastic although very pricey, especially for the morning breakfast that is normally free in other hotels. I would personally look around at other comparable hotels if I go back to the same area since there are plenty to choose from.

Seeing the fireworks (after the concert on the lawn nearby) from our room was a special surprise. The warm chocolate chip cookies upon our welcome were a real treat (as were the extra ones we requested each time we passed through the lobby ;) ). A full-service bar/ lounge and restaurant is available to guests and friends. The breakfast buffet is excellent (lots of tasty choices) and reasonably priced. Call ahead to see what they offer during the week. The adjacent Morton Steakhouse is accessible through the lobby as well as outside. They offer valet service for patrons of the restaurant and/ or hotel. Self-parking in the deck was easy ($20 flat rate for up to 24 hours for which you can pay online). Level 2 has an indoor elevated walkway from the deck to the hotel's 2nd floor (luggage carts are available in the lobby at the concierge desk). A 24-hour convenience nook is available for personal necessities, grab-n-go foods/ snacks/ drinks and cans or bottles for a relaxing night cap. Starbucks is located near the bar and serves a limited menu of coffees, teas, carbs, and non-caffenated drinks. It's perfect before you head over to the Convention Center or hopping on the free shuttle to the airport or shop
