Quality Inn Rutland - Killington

I can’t find much good. There was always parking. The room was cleaner than the hall and outside. It was filthy!!

If I could give this hotel no stars I would, first things first DO NOT BE FOOLED by the pictures of the property although it appears to look nice, the room I was assigned resembled a Harlem crack den, the room smelled like cat urine, cigarette smoke and body odor. Upon further investigation the room was loaded with bed bugs and roaches. There was dog feces all over the parking lot, the actual hotel has no security on the doors so anyone can come and go as they please, hotel hallways smells like Marlboro Country from people smoking in the hallways. Also be aware back in 2021 the state of Vermont stepped in and shut them down due to numerous health and safety code violations and safety concerns how this place is still open is mind boggling. Avoid this place at all costs

Linen and towels were clean. Room way past due for a complete update of furnishings. Bathroom floor was coming apart in some sections. No chair in room. No coffee machine

The room smelled, the bathroom was awful. We only had 1/4 roll of TP and no extra rolls. Sleeping on the beds was like sleeping on a sleeping bag on the ground. I found out after registering that this was a homeless shelter a couple of months ago. Don’t stay here, the property should be condemned. The pictures must have been changed because the room did not look like the pictures.

Location & price. room was run down, 1 roll of toilet paper, could not operate TV, bathroom was not welcoming.

Not a thing. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We booked as a family with two young children. The website advertised a pool would be available and breakfast would be provided. After a 4 hour travel we arrived to checkin and I was informed the pool was closed and there was no breakfast, and that this hotel was a homeless shelter 3 weeks ago and recently turned into a hotel. Once we went around to the back to our room, it was very apparent this had been/potentially is still being used as a homeless shelter. The floors and walls were disgustingly dirty. It smelled awful of dog and cigarette smoke. The beds were on mismatched metal frames, hard as can be. The curtains were half hung and wouldn’t close properly. There were missing and broken lightbulbs. My children were disappointed that we had a very long car ride with promises of a pool, and there was none. I was disappointed about the entire stay. I didn’t want the kids touching the floors or walls and felt very uncomfortable. This was supposed to be a special getaway for us and it turned into something completely unpleasant and unenjoyable. We did not sleep well and checked out first thing. I did tell the checkout man how disappointed and bad our stay was. Just a heads up- the photos on the website and even this website look NOTHING like the place now. The condition is horrendous. This was not the first Quality Inn that I’ve stayed at but it will be my last.

The faculty were nice There is no breakfast, false advertising. There is a bright flood light on the balcony that lights the room all night. Could easily be solved with blackout curtains but they don't care

Could not even stay there. The place was trashed, there was a dog in the room next door that would not stop barking. The lobby smelled like cigarettes and so did the room. We had to get a room down the street and they refused to refund us. Absolutely disgusting

I had a great experience. It is classic Vermont. This giant (friendly) dog met me behind front desk. The desk clerk was a pretty rustic character. He had been on duty 48 hours, but he was so friendly and helpful. The poor guy was asleep in the desk chair when I went to check out but he was all about service when I woke him up. I slept better than I do at home. Price was right and I would stay there again.

Location Smelled. Door deadbolt didn't work, TV remote didn't work, didn't have blackout curtains, so my room was well lit (not dark) at night when trying to sleep due to the parking lot lights, no pool as was advertised, no breakfast as was advertised, no chair in room, no kleenex in room...just stuff you typically expect even in a budget hotel. I'll go back to staying at my normal hotel when in Rutland.

Location Disgusting- dirty-toilet didn’t flush -hallway smells like dog urine and said breakfast- no nothing not even coffee place needs to be bulldozed to the ground !! Only stayed 1 night we were done

Did not stay at the hotel. Drove to the parking lot and thought we would get robbed over night. Booked somewhere else safer to stay. Place is run down and super sketchy.

Run down hotel. Dirty outside. Trash in parking lot and in front of the doors. Old, outdated. Not kept up. Not at all worth what I paid. Very over priced. I was charged twice. There was no one at the front desk when I signed out.

Staff shortages are very apparent. Seem to be a lot of smokers also staying there. Not a place I would rush back to.
